Aloha, Disney fans! Have you heard the exciting news? Moana herself will be setting sail for Disneyland Paris this holiday season!
To celebrate the highly-anticipated release of Moana 2 (hitting cinemas November 27th), our favorite wayfinder will be meeting and greeting guests at Disneyland Paris! So, if you’re already planning a holiday trip to Disneyland Paris, or if you need an extra push to book that winter getaway, now’s your chance to meet this one-of-a-kind adventurer.
When Can You Meet Moana?
While details are still coming together, Disney has given us a couple of potential start dates for Moana’s arrival: November 27th (opening weekend for Moana 2).
The best part? She’ll be around all season long until January 6th, 2025! Imagine ringing in the new year with a little island magic—who wouldn’t want that?
How to meet Moana
Due to the popularity of the Moana meet and greet at Disneyland Paris a reservation system has been introduced. For those guests who want to meet Moana we advise you queue up during Extra Magic Time as we found the return time cards were given out early each morning! If you don’t get a return time card you won’t be able to meet her.
Make sure to return to the venue at the start of your return time and you’ll be let inside to meet Moana!
What to Expect During Your Meet-and-Greet
Disneyland Paris is planning to station Moana in the Annual Pass building, where the Annual Pass Pop-Ups occur, meaning they have space to create an exciting backdrop that looks like it’s straight out of Motunui, with lush tropical vibes, and maybe even a friendly Pua or Hei Hei cameo (fingers crossed!).
A little tip: Come prepared with your best Moana-inspired outfit! Think flowy skirts, floral prints, and maybe a shell necklace. Not only does it make for adorable photos, but it also just adds that extra sparkle to the experience.
