Disneyland Paris hotel and ticket promotions often include stays at Disney Davy Crockett Ranch or Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne, so we decided it was the right time to experience everything Davy Crockett Ranch has to offer, and give it our honest review.
This accommodation offers a peaceful woodland setting with self-catering cabins. It suits families who want more space, a bit of privacy and a quieter stay while still being within easy reach of the parks. Having never stayed here before (as we don’t drive to the parks), we wanted to share an honest review of Disney Davy Crockett Ranch to help you decide whether these promotions are worth taking up and whether it is the right choice for your family.
Our stay was in the original Davy Crockett Ranch cabin. These are currently being refurbished, and some of the new upgraded cabins are now available to book. The new designs are themed around Donald Duck and his three nephews, Huey, Dewey and Louie.

Disney Davy Crockett is ideal for guests who drive to the parks. With great theming and a budget price it’s a great option when looking to save money on your Disneyland Paris hotel cost.

From its rustic ambiance to its excellent value, Disney Davy Crockett Ranch exceeded our expectations on our first visit. While it’s not our favourite choice, but for families looking to save money, those with larger families, or guests who drive to the parks this would be an amazing option!
With its fantastic amenities, self-catering dining options, and low prices we believe Davy Crockett Ranch is absolutely worth it!
Davy Crockett Ranch Review (2026)
We were thrilled to stay at Disney Davy Crockett Ranch for the first time. From the moment we arrived, it felt like we were at an American-style camp straight out of the movies. The central area, with its reception, restaurant, saloon, and firepit, created a cozy hub, while the cabins branched out along their own charming roads.
So, let’s dive into the details of our stay in our review of Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch.
Davy Crockett Ranch Character Meet & Greets
If you follow us on our socials, you will know we love meeting characters at the parks and hotels. All the on-site hotels at Disneyland Paris offer character meet and greets in the morning or afternoon, so we expected to see a few characters at the Ranch, especially since its mascots are Chip and Dale.
We also thought the refurbishment might bring some character appearances or themed entertainment, but that has not happened so far.
Unfortunately, Disney Davy Crockett Ranch does not offer Disney character meet and greets, which is a little disappointing. The grounds would be a perfect setting for the cheeky chipmunks to appear and add an extra bit of magic to the stay.
Disney Davy Crockett Ranch Location
Disney Davy Crockett Ranch offers a unique retreat set within a peaceful forest environment, giving a quiet break from the busy Disneyland Paris parks. Located around 7km from the parks, it is classed as an off-site accommodation, although it still feels very much part of the Disney experience.
Doesn’t offer a free shuttle bus, you can use Uber/Bolt to your cabin!
One important thing to note is that there is no free shuttle bus service from the Ranch to the parks. However, guests do benefit from free parking at Disneyland Paris, which is useful for those travelling by car.
As we flew from the UK, we used Uber for our journeys to and from the parks. This proved to be a straightforward and efficient option. Prices ranged from 12 to 15 euros each way, with journey times of around 10 to 15 minutes depending on traffic.
A real bonus was being picked up and dropped off right outside our cabin, which made things very convenient. That said, after the fireworks on our first night, it was harder to secure an Uber. We have found this can happen at other off-site hotels too. Pre-booking a ride or waiting a little while after the park closes, perhaps with a stop in World of Disney or a quick drink, made it much easier to get a car once the rush had eased.
Whether you choose to drive or use Uber, getting from Disney Davy Crockett Ranch to Disneyland Paris is generally simple and straightforward.
Davy Crockett Ranch Check-in
After an early flight from the UK, we landed at Charles de Gaulle Airport and took an Uber directly to Disney Davy Crockett Ranch. We arrived at around 10:30am, ready to check in and have a look around the Ranch before heading to the parks.
At check-in, the Cast Member was welcoming and helpful. She talked us through the facilities, including the pool, available activities and what to expect from our cabin. She also gave us a voucher to collect a free cleaning kit from the on-site shop, which included dishwasher tablets, cleaning products, a sponge and a dishcloth, a useful and unexpected extra.
Noticing our luggage, she asked if we had driven. When we explained we had arrived by Uber from the airport, she checked our booking and told us our cabin was ready straight away, which was a welcome surprise. We later learned that Disney Davy Crockett Ranch does not offer luggage storage, unlike other Disneyland Paris hotels. Disney usually states that cabins are available from 3pm, so it is worth keeping this in mind if you are arriving early and not travelling by car.
She also explained that, unlike standard hotel rooms, the cabins do not include daily housekeeping. If you need fresh towels or extra supplies, you have to request them from reception or the on-site store.
Overall, the check-in process was smooth and friendly, setting a positive tone for our stay at Disney Davy Crockett Ranch.
We had booked a Premium cabin, which is closer to the main facilities. The Cast Member showed us our cabin location on the resort map, handed us a physical key, which was a surprise, and we headed off to settle in.
Our Davy Crockett Ranch Cabin
Before we talk about our room and experience we wanted to share with you the type of cabins available at Davy Crockett Ranch. The cabins are virtually identical, with the main difference being the distance away from the facilities.
- First up, we’ve got the Trapper Tribe Cabin. This room type offers 1 double bed and 4 single beds (including 1 pull out). These cabins are located the furthest distance away from the facilities and entrance.
- The Pioneer Tribe Cabins also offers 1 double bed and 4 single beds (including 1 pull out).
- Finally they offer the Premium Plus-bungalow. This cabin also offers 1 double bed and 4 single beds (including 1 pull-out). These are located close to the hotel facilities and offers guests some additional extras such as a Nespresso Coffee Machine instead of a standard kettle, hair dryers, bathrobes, and slippers, and the cleaning kit.
Now, let’s talk about our cabin!
Opting for a Premium cabin was a good decision, as these are located closer to the main amenities including the pool, shop and reception. This made a noticeable difference and saved time walking around the site. It took us around 8 minutes to walk from reception to our cabin.
Arriving at the cabin, we stepped into an open plan kitchen and living area with a comfortable sofa and a dining table that worked well for family meals. The layout felt similar to a large caravan, practical and straightforward without feeling cramped.
The kitchen was fully equipped with plates, pans and basic essentials, which made it easy to prepare meals during our stay. These self-catering facilities are useful if you want to bring groceries or shop at the on-site store, helping keep costs down if you prefer to eat in the cabin.
At either end of the cabin were the bedrooms. On the left was a double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, offering added privacy and convenience. On the right was a second bedroom with three single beds and an additional pull-out bed, making it suitable for larger families or groups. Between the living space and bedrooms there was a separate shower room and toilet, which worked well when everyone was getting ready at the same time.
Each cabin also has a private deck with a picnic table and BBQ grill. This outdoor space would be especially enjoyable on warmer evenings and adds to the woodland, camping style feel of Disney Davy Crockett Ranch
Davy Crockett Ranch Restaurant: Crocketts Tavern
As Disney Davy Crockett Ranch offers self-catering cabins, there is only one main restaurant on site, Crockett’s Tavern. As one of the more affordable Disney buffet options, the all-you-can-eat service offers good value while still providing a solid range of dishes.
We liked having the choice of indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor area feels warm and relaxed, while the outdoor seating lets you enjoy the woodland setting, especially on a mild summer evening. Eating outside in the central hub adds to the overall atmosphere of the Ranch.
One of the highlights was the outdoor barbecue, which is not available every night. We were lucky enough to experience it during our stay. The smell of the grill and freshly cooked meats gave the meal a different feel and made it more memorable than a standard buffet evening.
Inside the restaurant, there is a wide variety of food stations. You can also see chefs preparing dishes behind the counters, which adds a bit of interaction and shows the care that goes into the service.
Crockett’s Tavern also works well for families, with a dedicated children’s section offering simple favourites such as chicken nuggets and fish fingers, which kept younger diners happy.
The dessert selection includes a mix of familiar buffet staples alongside a few items unique to the Ranch. We especially enjoyed the pecan pie, which is also served at Cowboy Cookout Barbecue in Frontierland. It was a strong finish to the meal and stood out as one of the better desserts on offer.
Our evening at Crockett’s Saloon was a relaxed mix of downtime and entertainment, and it is a great place to spend time at Disney Davy Crockett Ranch after a day in the parks.
The saloon has a rustic feel with a welcoming atmosphere. There is a small outdoor seating area and a larger indoor space. We started indoors, where the cosy setting and big screens showing live sports created a lively but comfortable environment. If you prefer something quieter, the outdoor seating works well for enjoying the fresh air and the woodland surroundings.
A highlight for us was the pool table and the cocktails. It adds a simple, social activity to the evening and fits well with the laid-back feel of the bar. We spent time playing a few games while enjoying drinks, which made for an easy, enjoyable night.
The cocktail menu was better than expected and reasonably priced. A Mojito and a frozen Margarita were both around 10 euros each. Both were well made and felt like good value compared to many other Disney venues.
Overall, Crockett’s Saloon is a solid spot for a low-key evening. Whether you want to watch sport, play pool or just sit with a drink, it offers a comfortable and easy-going way to end the day at the Ranch.
Breakfast at Davy Crockett
Breakfast at Disney Davy Crockett Ranch has now been upgraded for future stays, which is a big improvement for guests.
The Ranch now offers an all you can eat buffet breakfast, similar to the other Disneyland Paris hotels. It includes a mix of pastries, sweet and savoury options, along with hot and cold drinks, served between 6:30am and 10:30am. It is also available to non staying guests, making it a convenient option even if you are not staying on site.
During our stay, breakfast was much simpler. Guests collected a takeaway breakfast bag from a nearby pick-up point and enjoyed it back at their cabin. The bag typically included pastries or cereal, milk, fruit cups, fruit juice and a hot drink.
While it was quick and easy, the offering felt quite basic and did not fully suit our needs. With the cabins having full kitchen facilities, we felt that preparing our own breakfast would have worked better for a more relaxed and flexible start to the day.
How much does it cost to stay at Davey Crockett Ranch?

Booking directly with Disneyland Paris also means you benefit from their booking conditions and price guarantee, so you will not find the same official package cheaper elsewhere.
Disney Davy Crockett Ranch is the most budget friendly accommodation option at Disneyland Paris. It is a strong choice for families and groups looking to keep costs down while still staying within easy reach of the parks. You will often find extra offers and seasonal discounts that make it even better value. We have seen deals from around £91 per person per night, including park tickets.
