WHICH DISNEYLAND PARIS HOTEL IS BEST

Guide to the Disneyland Paris Hotels (2024)

Which Disneyland Paris hotel is best? (2024 guide)

You’ll get the most magical Disneyland Paris experience if you stay at one of the official Disneyland Paris hotels. With six on-site hotels and one off-site ranch, each option offers different themes, price points, and amenities.

But which is the best Disneyland Paris hotel?

We’ve stayed at every hotel at Disneyland Paris and if you want to jump straight to our top pick, we believe that the best Disneyland Paris hotel is the luxurious and newly refurbished Disneyland Hotel. Reopened in January 2024 after an extensive renovation, it boasts the best reviews and is the closest to the theme parks. However, it comes with the highest price tag.

If you’re looking for mid-range options, Disney’s Sequoia Lodge and Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne are fantastic choices. Sequoia Lodge offers a cozy, rustic atmosphere and features a pool, making it ideal for families who enjoy time out of the parks. On the other hand, Hotel Cheyenne provides a fun, Wild West theme that kids love, but it doesn’t have a pool. Both hotels are within walking distance to the parks and offer excellent value.

For those seeking the best value, Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch is an excellent choice. It’s usually significantly cheaper than other Disneyland PAris hotels and offers spacious holiday lodges with great amenities, including a swimming pool, though it is a short drive from the parks.

While there are ‘partner hotels’ near Disneyland Paris, for this guide we’re focusing on the official Disney hotels. For those interested in more budget-friendly options, we’ll have a separate guide covering the best off-site hotels.

We’ve compared the Disneyland Paris hotels based on customer reviews, location, value for money, and available facilities. Our goal is to help you choose the best Disneyland Paris hotel for you, your family, and your budget!

Each hotel has its own unique charm, characters, and facilities that made our stays memorable in different ways. We hope our experiences provide valuable insights to help you plan your trip and decide which Disneyland Paris hotel is perfect for you.

Let’s begin with a breakdown of what each Disneyland Paris hotel offers, listed from the most luxurious to the most budget-friendly.

Disneyland Hotel

If money is no object, Disneyland Hotel is the ultimate choice for your stay at Disneyland Paris. This flagship hotel features an enchanting princess theme, immersing guests in a fairy-tale experience with elegant decor and regal touches.

The Disneyland Hotel is located directly above the entrance to Disneyland Park, and has amazing facilities, including a luxurious spa, indoor swimming pool, fitness center, and multiple Character dining restaurants. Guests can also enjoy exclusive experiences such as the Royal Dream makeover. The bucket-list stay for most guests is to stay in the Castle Club rooms which can offer stunning views over the train station and down Main Street to Sleeping Beauty Castle.

In our opinion, the Disneyland Hotel is unparalleled in luxury and proximity to the parks, making it perfect for those looking to indulge in the full Disney magic.

Hotel New York - Art of Marvel

We’ve found the Marvel theme wonderfully integrated into the hotel decor without it being over the top. The hotel features some of the best restaurants at Disneyland Paris and offers exclusive activities for guests, including Marvel meet and greets. The sleek, modern design and numerous Marvel art pieces create an immersive yet sophisticated atmosphere. No matter if you’re a Marvel fan or not, this hotel is an amazing choice!

Hotel Newport Bay Club

We always appreciated the hotels traditional nautical-themed rooms, and love the rooms which give a view over Lake Disney. This is the largest hotel at Disneyland Paris, just a 15-minute walk to both Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park. It features a large indoor and outdoor pool, perfect for relaxation. Having spoken to many Disney fans who visit Walt Disney World’s, they often compare this to the Yacht Club and this is their favourite hotel at Disneyland Paris.

The Sequoia Lodge

Sequoia Lodge is one of our favorite hotels to stay at in Disneyland Paris. If you enjoy the rustic lodge theme, Sequoia Lodge really cannot be beaten. Among the moderate hotels, it offers the best value, with many amenities including a swimming pool, and a bar with one of the most relaxing atmospheres, which only gets better with the open fire during the colder months!

Cheyenne

Hotel Cheyenne is our favorite budget hotel at Disneyland Paris. It’s a cowboy-themed frontier town with lots of Woody-from-Toy-Story decor. The rooms are spread out over a wild-west town setting, where everything is themed, even the onsite Starbucks looks like an old west bank. During the summer, you can enjoy BBQs and pony rides, making it a fun and unique place to stay at Disneyland Paris.

Santa Fe

Hotel Santa Fe is a budget option themed around the New Mexico city of Santa Fe, complete with Route 66 and Pixar Cars decor, you can even see the world’s smallest volcano! While the budget price is appealing, the rooms are basic, with no air conditioning, no swimming pool, and limited activities. Despite these drawbacks, the unique theme and affordable rates make it a fun choice for Pixar Cars fans and budget-conscious visitors, after all how much time do you spend in your room?

Davy Crockett Ranch

Davy Crockett Ranch is the self-catering option at Disneyland Paris. You rent a woodland cabin with a small kitchen, living area, and enough space to sleep up to six people, making it ideal for families. The ranch offers the best activities of any Disneyland Paris hotel, including a themed swimming pool with a flume, mini-golf, playgrounds, and tennis courts. It’s perfect for those who drive, as the location is off-site, though Ubers to the park are available.

The cabins at the ranch are currently undergoing an update where we’ll see a new theme and design incorporated into each cabin.

How many days do you need at Disneyland Paris?

Disneyland Paris actually has two theme parks right next to each other: Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park (recently revealed to be changing its name to Adventure World).

Most guests will be able to explore both parks over a few days. The official website suggests spending three days here, but we usually suggest this as a minimum if you want to experience everything without feeling rushed or if you want to take a relaxing day by the hotel pool.

Our top recommendation for most guests is a 3 night/4 day stay. If you want a more relaxed Disneyland Paris trip we recommend you book a 4 night/5 day stay.

The Disneyland Hotel impresses guests with its luxurious amenities and unparalleled proximity to the Disneyland Park entrance.
