THE ULTIMATE GUIDE TO DISNEYLAND PARIS ANNUAL PASS HOLDER EVENTS
Updated 10th October 2025
The Disneyland Paris Annual Pass, now rebranded as the Disneyland Pass, is still one of the best ways for Disney fans to soak up the magic of Disneyland Paris again and again throughout the year. But it’s not just about park entry — the pass also unlocks a treasure trove of extra perks, from exclusive discounts to the promise of 4 Annual Pass Parties each year (also known as Soirées Pass Annuel)!
One of the standout new benefits introduced with the Disneyland Pass in 2023 was the promise of four exclusive after-hours events per year designed just for pass holders. These parties are a little bit special – we’re talking unique themes, rare character appearances, exclusive entertainment, and the golden opportunity to explore the parks in a whole new light (sometimes literally, thanks to the jaw-dropping shows). To join in, you’ll need to grab an extra paid ticket, which is available exclusively to pass holders.

Disneyland Paris has now officially confirmed that the next Annual Pass Party will take place on 5th December 2025, and it promises to be extra special!
Key Details Released so far….
We’ve got a handy video below that walks you through the process step-by-step — but if you prefer reading (or just want a quick peek before 11am hits), here’s exactly what to do:
It’s that simple! Just be ready right at 11am (UK time), as these tickets tend to disappear faster than popcorn on Main Street during the fireworks.
The event, now officially titled “Disney Starlight Night,” will be held in Walt Disney Studios Park and is shaping up to be a proper farewell party before the park begins its transformation into Disney Adventure World early next year.
Guests will have the chance to become a star for the night, with exclusive shows, unique entertainment, and special character meet-and-greets featuring Disney, Pixar, and Marvel characters. If you’ve ever wanted one last magical evening in the Studios, this is your opportunity.
Characters and Entertainment at the Annual Pass Party
One of the biggest reasons fans sprint to these Annual Pass parties is the promise of rare character meets. Let’s be honest, nothing makes you feel like you have unlocked Disneyland Paris on expert mode quite like hugging a character you never thought you would see outside a YouTube clip.
This year’s programme is looking much more exciting than the early teasers suggested. Yes, our party regulars Darkwing Duck and Launchpad McQuack are back. At this point, it almost feels wrong to have a soirée without them. They bring that Saturday morning cartoon chaos that instantly transports you back to cereal in front of the telly.
Raya is also returning after her grand debut during Princess Week. Clearly she had a great time and thought, why not pop back for an after-hours adventure.
From there, things start getting epic. The full Frozen crew will be present, and when I say full, I mean Kristoff, Sven, Anna, Elsa, and Olaf. It is practically Arendelle on tour.
Pixar fans will have plenty to cheer about too. Woody, Jessie, Bullseye, and Bo Peep are all saddling up, joined by Carl and Dug straight out of Up, and the emotions Sadness, Joy, and Anger stepping right out of Inside Out. Even the Green Army Men are reporting for duty, probably still in perfect formation.
Monsters Inc fans will also be thrilled. Sulley is ready for hugs, Needleman is back to prove that background characters can steal the spotlight, and Anger is popping in from Inside Out to bring some fiery attitude to the mix.
Marvel is not holding back either. Doctor Strange, Loki, Spiderman, Thor, Shuri, and even The Scarlet Witch are confirmed. As if that line-up was not powerful enough, The Thing is also on the guest list and Agatha Harkness is swooping in for good measure.
And if you prefer your meets a little more classic, Goofy is ready for laughs, Chip and Dale are back with Clarice, and the DBX Droids will be rolling in with their usual out-of-this-galaxy energy.
Spectacular Shows
The party is not just about rare character meets. It is also stacked with entertainment that makes you wish you had a Time Turner so you could catch everything without missing a beat.
The Amazing Premiere (Studio Theater)
Showtimes: 9.30pm, 10.30pm, 11.30pm, 12.30am, 1.30am
Welcome to the most anticipated premiere of the year. This is where Disney and Pixar characters step out of the big screen and onto the stage for a spectacular celebration. Think red carpet vibes with a dash of Disney magic. It is glitzy, it is joyful, and it feels like you have snagged the best seat at the film event of the season.
The Sparkling Royal Ball (Animagique Theater)
Showtimes: 9pm, 10pm, 11pm, midnight, 1am
If you ever dreamed of stepping into a fairy-tale, this is your golden ticket. The elegance of live classical music sets the mood as Disney Princesses and Princes gather for a royal ball that is pure enchantment. It is waltzes, twirls, and gowns that sparkle more than the castle during fireworks. Even if you are not usually a ballroom person, trust me, you will find yourself swaying along by the second number.
Heroic Appearances (Marvel Avengers Campus)
Showtimes: 9.45pm, 10.40pm, 11.40pm, 12.35am, 1.25am
Far from the glitz of red carpets and royal ballrooms, Avengers Campus is going full superhero mode. This one is all about action, might, and cosmic surprises. Expect iconic heroes making appearances that will have Marvel fans geeking out and non-Marvel fans suddenly planning a rewatch marathon.
Happenings
On top of characters and shows, the party sprinkles in extra experiences that keep the energy buzzing all night long. These are the little gems that make wandering the park feel like one big adventure.
Disney Trivia Challenge (Studio D)
Showtimes: 9pm, 10pm, 11pm, midnight, 1am
Time to prove that all those hours rewatching Disney and Pixar classics were actually research. This live, interactive game is a chance to flex your trivia muscles and maybe even learn a fun fact or two you can brag about later. It is light-hearted, full of surprises, and the kind of activity that makes you feel instantly part of the Disney fan family.
That’s a Wrap! (Hollywood Boulevard)
Showtimes: 9pm, 9.50pm, 10.40pm, 11.30pm, 12.20am, 1.10am
Renowned director Charlie de Luca is filming the final scene of his latest blockbuster, and you are invited onto the set. This happening blends the glitz of Hollywood with playful audience moments, giving you the chance to step right into the spotlight. It is colourful, lively, and just the right amount of tongue-in-cheek.
Cheshire Cat DJ Party
11pm to 2am – Theatre of the Stars
When the clock strikes eleven, Wonderland takes over the dancefloor. The Cheshire Cat is spinning tracks, grinning from ear to ear, and turning the night into a psychedelic party that is equal parts quirky and unforgettable. Picture neon lights, surreal vibes, and a soundtrack that makes you want to dance like you have truly gone mad here.
It is the perfect late-night hangout if you want to swap queues for moves and trade character hugs for a bit of Wonderland-style chaos. Even if you are not usually a dancer, the energy is infectious. You might just find yourself grooving alongside Alice’s wildest friends before the night is over.
Annual Pass Parties at Disneyland Paris are exclusive after-hours events for Annual Pass holders, offering unique entertainment, rare character meet-and-greets, themed activities, and minimal wait times for attractions.
To join the fun, you’ll need to buy an additional ticket for the event. You can also purchase up to two extra tickets for friends or family who don’t have an Annual Pass, so you can bring your favourite Disney buddies along! If you’re a passholder with a disability, you’re entitled to a 25% discount on your ticket, plus you can grab a discounted ticket for one companion too.
Tickets are sold online via the official Disneyland Paris website, and these events can sell out fast, especially the ones with hot themes like Villains or Christmas, or when rare characters are making an appearance. For example, one of the events sold out in no time after they announced a Monsters Inc character meet!
The party officially kicks off after the park closes, usually between 7:30 and 9:00 pm, but you can start collecting your wristband from the late afternoon, which lets you seamlessly transition into the event once regular park guests leave. If you have a park reservation that day, don’t worry – you won’t need to leave the park and re-enter; just grab your wristband and you’re all set!
And here’s the exciting bit: costumes! Yes, you can actually dress up for the event (which you can’t normally do during regular park hours), as long as you stick to Disney’s safety guidelines (no full-face masks for adults, and no costumes that block your vision or movement). So, get creative and embrace the theme of the night!
What can you expect during the event? Well, get ready for an unforgettable night packed with:
But here’s the catch: with so much happening, it’s impossible to experience everything in one night. These events are action-packed, and you’ll need to prioritise your must-dos. Whether it’s meeting that rare character, catching a unique show, or simply enjoying the park without the usual crowds, it’s all about making the most of your evening!
Traditionally, Disneyland Paris has aimed to hold four Annual Pass events each year, following a pretty consistent pattern:
In past years, the September party has often landed in the second or third week of the month. Previous September party dates include:
So the next Annual Pass Party on the 12th September 2025 fits perfectly into that usual rhythm.
We now know the date, but we’re still waiting for more details about the full theme, special entertainment, and which rare characters might make an appearance. Early signs suggest this could be a nostalgic, celebratory night for Walt Disney Studios Park fans, and honestly, we’re already feeling a bit emotional about it.
If you want to be the first to know when more details drop, make sure to sign up to our FREE Newsletter — we’ll keep you in the loop with all the latest Disneyland Paris news.
First things first, attending a Disneyland Paris Annual Pass Party is an added cost on top of your Annual Pass, and the price can vary depending on whether you pay in Euros or Pounds!
Here’s the breakdown:
Disneyland Paris Annual Pass Party Ticket Price
The usual price is around 59 euros per person. This covers everything the party has to offer, from exclusive shows to special character encounters. Just remember, tickets need to be bought online ahead of time — no turning up on the night and hoping for a ticket!
Disabled Passholder Discount
If you’re a disabled passholder, good news! Disneyland Paris offers a 25% discount on your ticket, plus you can bring along one companion. Remember, you’ll need to buy these tickets in person (with your identification) at the park gate — not online.
Ticket Purchase Rules
Advance Purchase Required: You’ll need to grab your regular tickets ahead of the event, and you can do that easily through your Annual Passholder account.
Ticket Limit: As an Annual Passholder, you can usually buy up to two extra tickets for friends or family members who don’t have an Annual Pass themselves.
Is It Worth the Price?
Let’s be honest: with the recent increase in Annual Pass prices, the cost of these event tickets might make you pause for a second. But, don’t be too quick to dismiss it! These events often sell out fast — which shows there’s still plenty of demand.
For the price, you’re getting access to rare characters, exclusive shows, shorter ride wait times, and immersive themed entertainment that you won’t find on a regular day at the park. It’s definitely a special experience!
Personally, we pick and choose which events we attend, especially since some can get super busy, and the character line-ups tend to be similar each time. Still, it’s all about finding the right one for you!
When you snap up a ticket for a Disneyland Paris Annual Pass Party, you’re not just getting a few extra hours in the park — you’re stepping into a specially crafted after-hours adventure that goes beyond your regular day of magic. Here’s what you can usually expect:
Park Access
You’ll get evening entry to Disneyland Park, and usually, you can head in from around 5–6 PM with just your party ticket. No need to use up a park reservation! It’s a great way to get a few rides or a snack in before the party officially kicks off.
Wristband System
If you’ve already got a park reservation for the day, you can pick up your wristband under Main Street Station from early afternoon — easy peasy! If you don’t have a reservation, plan to arrive early for the party start time. Queues can be slow as everyone scrambles to grab their wristbands at the gates.
Exclusive Entertainment
Expect exclusive shows dotted around the park, many of them themed especially for the event. Sometimes Disneyland Paris brings back beloved favourites like the Jungle Book Jive, or even teases upcoming seasons with special performances.
Opening and Closing Ceremonies
Most parties kick off with an opening show and close with a special finale — usually packed with live singers, characters, and that goosebumps-inducing feeling you only get at Disneyland Paris after dark.
Special Character Encounters
This is where things get really exciting. You’ll often spot rare characters you wouldn’t usually meet — Disney Villains, retro favourites, or characters in themed outfits to match the night. And good news: proper meet and greets are back! No more awkward selfie spots — you can finally get that magical posed photo again.
Photopass Photographers
Lower your expectations here. In all the events we’ve attended, we’ve rarely seen official photographers at character meets. It might change in future, but for now, make sure your phone is charged and your camera skills are ready!
Attractions and Rides
Fancy a nearly walk-on ride on Big Thunder Mountain? Yes, please! Many major attractions stay open, and with most guests chasing shows or characters, you can enjoy some seriously short wait times.
Themed Decorations and Atmosphere
One of the real highlights. Expect themed lighting, music, and projections that truly transform the park for the night. We always get a kick out of the lighting effects on the Skull in Adventureland and the hauntingly beautiful touches around Phantom Manor.
Merchandise, Food, and Drink
A selection of shops and restaurants stay open during the party. Sometimes you’ll spot event-exclusive snacks or merchandise too, although it’s often on the simple side.
Additional Activities
Some nights throw in a few extras like scavenger hunts, free gifts, and little challenges.
Don’t get your hopes too high on the freebies though — posters and paper booklets have been the standard. Still, it’s a bit of fun, and if you’re like us, you’ll probably end up cherishing them anyway (even if they do end up slightly crumpled in the bottom of your backpack!).
Having been lucky enough (and occasionally brave enough!) to attend multiple Disneyland Paris Annual Pass Parties over the years, I can safely say they’re a real mixed bag — a lot depends on what you’re hoping to get out of the night.
General Vibe of the Events
The overall atmosphere at the Annual Pass parties is generally positive and lively. It really does feel special being in the park late at night, surrounded by a mostly passionate Disney fan crowd who just get it. There’s a real buzz — the kind of excitement that reminds you why you fell in love with Disney in the first place.
However, it’s not all fairy dust and fireworks. That same excitement can sometimes tip over into a bit of chaos, with overexcited pass holders pushing, rushing, and scrambling around the park trying to squeeze every last drop out of the night. If you’re not a fan of a hectic atmosphere, you’ll want to plan your evening carefully — or just embrace the madness with a sense of humour!
In terms of quality and organisation, consistency hasn’t been Disneyland Paris’ strong point with these parties. Some events have felt really well-thought-out, with tonnes to do, brilliant shows, and a feeling that every detail had been considered.
Others — especially the scavenger-hunt-style events — could feel pretty disorganised, with confusing instructions and almost everything operating only in French. We’ve seen a lot of international guests wandering around looking understandably frustrated when they couldn’t work out what was going on.
That said, if we’re being honest (and we always are here!), consistency hasn’t been their strong point. Some nights have been absolute hits with brilliant organisation and loads to do. Others have felt a bit more chaotic, with vague instructions and the occasional language barrier leaving many international guests scratching their heads.
The Highlights
Characters:
If you’re a character fan, these nights can be absolute heaven. Seeing rare characters or beloved favourites in exclusive costumes is such a buzz — and with proper meet-and-greets now back (goodbye awkward selfie spots!), it feels even more special.
No Queues for Attractions:
If rides are your thing, you’re in for a treat. While everyone else is queueing to meet characters, you can hop on your favourite attractions with little to no wait. Walk-ons galore!
Exclusive Shows:
The parties usually serve up special entertainment you won’t catch during regular park hours. Some of these shows have been real gems and honestly worth the ticket price alone.
The Frustrations
Language Barriers:
Most announcements, shows, and scavenger hunts are completely in French. If you’re not a French speaker, you might find yourself missing out or feeling a bit lost without translations.
Character Queues:
Meeting characters is brilliant — but be warned, the lines for rare ones can be epically long. You’ll have to make some tough choices: do you queue for hours for that rare meet, or do you explore the rides and shows instead?
Scavenger Hunt Confusion:
On paper, scavenger hunts sound like a great idea. In practice, the lack of multilingual clues can cause a lot of frustration. We’ve seen so many guests struggle to work things out if they don’t speak French — it’s definitely something DLP could improve on.
What We Think About the Ticket Price
Look, we get it — if these events were included free with the Annual Pass, the park would probably be packed to bursting and nobody would have a good time. But still, with the Annual Pass price creeping up year after year, that extra €59 ticket fee stings a little more these days, especially if you’re travelling in from further afield and as a family, the price can ready add up!
In an ideal world, we’d love to see a small discount or maybe even one free event ticket per passholder per year. It would be a nice way to say thanks to loyal fans without risking overcrowding.
That said, the fact that these parties still sell out tells you everything you need to know — people clearly think they’re worth it. And if you go in with realistic expectations (and a comfy pair of shoes), there’s every chance you’ll have a brilliant night.
If you’re planning to attend one of the Disneyland Paris Annual Pass parties, a little bit of preparation can make a huge difference to your night. Trust us — we’ve learned this the fun way (and occasionally the hard way). Here are some key tips based on real experience:
1. Buy Your Tickets Early
These parties are popular, and the good ones — like Villainous Night or the Christmas specials — can sell out faster than you can say “Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo.”
Make sure you’re logged into your Disneyland Paris account, payment details ready, and hit that book button the minute tickets go live. No hesitation!
2. Plan Your Night in Advance
When the event programme drops (usually just a few days before), read it carefully.
Pick your priorities — rare character meets, special shows, or maybe squeezing in as many rides as possible.
Spoiler alert: You won’t be able to do it all. So choose what matters most to you and build a rough plan. Stay flexible though — this is Disney, after all, and a little bit of magic (or chaos) is always part of the deal.
3. Arrive Early
If you have park reservation for the day, you can usually collect your wristband from underneath the Main Street Station from around lunchtime. If you don’t have a reservation, we advise you arrive well before the entry time, as queues can be long to enter the park due to the ticket and wristband process.
4. Dress for the Theme (if you fancy it)
Costumes are encouraged — and honestly, it’s half the fun!
Just make sure you check the rules first: nothing that covers your whole face, no sharp objects, and nothing that could confuse you for an official Disney character (tempting as it might be to live your best Belle life).
5. Prepare for Long Character Queues
If meeting rare characters is your dream, get ready to queue — and start early.
The most popular meet-and-greets often have long lines even before the party starts.
If you don’t fancy spending your whole night in a queue, consider heading for slightly less hyped characters, or focus on shows and rides instead.
6. Don’t Rely on English
This is a big one! Most scavenger hunts, shows, and announcements are in French.
If your French isn’t up to scratch, don’t worry — you’re not alone. It’s a good idea to follow fan accounts (like ours!) because we usually share translations, tips, and secret words faster than you can find a churro stand.
7. Stay Late
If you can push through the tired feet and late-night yawns, stay until the end.
The last hour or so is pure magic: families with little ones tend to leave early, so you’ll find much shorter lines for characters, walk-on rides, and a proper chance to dance like nobody’s watching as the DJ plays out the final beats of the night.
The next party is already on the horizon! It’s set for 12th September 2025, and here’s the exciting part – it’s happening in Walt Disney Studios Park. From the visuals Disneyland Paris has shared so far, it looks like this might be a bit of a farewell bash for the Studios park before it transforms into Disney Adventure World early next year. It’s shaping up to be a goodbye party with a twist, and we can’t wait to see how they celebrate this big change.
