One of the most exciting additions introduced with the Disneyland Pass in 2023 was the promise of four exclusive Passholder Parties each year. These after-hours events are designed specifically for Disneyland Pass holders and often feature unique themes, rare Disney character appearances, exclusive entertainment, and special experiences you won’t find during a normal park day. In our experience, these events are often one of the best opportunities to meet characters who rarely appear elsewhere at Disneyland Paris, making them particularly popular with dedicated Disney fans and collectors.
Having held annual passes for many years, we’ve attended numerous Disneyland Paris Annual Pass Parties and Disneyland Pass Nights, both before and after the introduction of the new Disneyland Pass programme. Over the years, we’ve seen everything from rare character meet-and-greets and exclusive shows to the return of popular themes and entertainment from past Disneyland Paris seasons.
In this guide, we’ll cover everything you need to know about upcoming Disneyland Passholder Parties, look back at previous events, and share practical insights from our own experiences. We’ll also help you understand what to expect on the night, including tips for planning your time wisely because, as we’ve learned from attending these events, there’s usually far more to see and do than can fit into a single evening.

Disneyland Paris has now teased the next Annual Pass Party and it looks to be another Pirates and Princesses themed pass soiree!

Since the teaser was first released, Disneyland Paris has now shared more details about this year’s Disneyland Pass Party, giving Pass holders a better idea of what to expect. While a number of exciting experiences have now been confirmed, there are still plenty of surprises being kept under wraps, with Disneyland Paris promising that more announcements will be revealed closer to the event.
One of the biggest surprises is that this Disneyland Pass Party will be the shortest one yet, running for just four hours. Although the event is shorter than previous editions, Disneyland Paris appears to be packing plenty into the evening, with multiple live shows, DJ dance zones across the park, and a full programme of entertainment designed to make the most of every minute.
Character fans will also have plenty to look forward to. Disneyland Paris has confirmed that guests will be able to meet a variety of Disney characters throughout the evening, with some meet-and-greet locations opening before the official start of the Pass Party. This early access should help more guests enjoy character encounters before the main event gets underway, potentially reducing some of the queues later in the night.
Adding to the exclusive offerings, four limited-edition drinks have also been announced especially for the event. Guests will be able to choose from two exclusive mocktails and two themed cocktails, available only during the Disneyland Pass Party. Disneyland Paris has yet to reveal exactly where these drinks will be available or what flavours they will feature, so that’s another detail we’ll be keeping an eye on.
With more entertainment announcements still to come, it looks like Disneyland Paris is saving a few surprises for Pass holders. We’ll continue updating this guide as more information is released, including any additional entertainment, character line-up, exclusive merchandise, and anything else announced ahead of the event.

As we shared earlier we saw exciting news for Disneyland Pass holders. The official Disneyland Paris Passholder Instagram account shared a teaser video for the next Disneyland Pass Night, suggesting that an announcement could be just around the corner, and on top of that we shared some ideas on when the next Disneyland Pass Party will take place. Only a few days later, we have confirmation that the next Disneyland Pass Party will take place on the 11th September
We think the next Passholder event will take place in September. Looking back, these events have followed a fairly consistent pattern, with parties in March, September, and then Christmas parties in November. Although there was no Passholder party in March this year, but we could consider this was replaced preview events for World of Frozen, and park hours through August show no signs of an early closure, September remains the most likely timeframe for the next event. We’ve also keep hearing rumours of dates around Friday 11 September, but nothing has been officially confirmed yet. What did the teaser video show?
The teaser video features Mickey and Minnie dressed in their pirates and princesses outfits, strongly hinting at a swashbuckling, fairytale-inspired theme for the upcoming event. It’s a subtle but exciting clue on what theme the Passholder Party will take.
At the time of writing, Disneyland Paris has not revealed any official details about the event, but the teaser has already sparked plenty of excitement among pass holders eager to find out what’s planned. If previous Passholder Parties are anything to go by, we could see exclusive entertainment, rare character appearances, unique photo opportunities, and perhaps even the return of some fan-favourite experiences from past events.

How to buy tickets for the Annual Pass Party

- Log into your Disney Account, make sure you’re using the same email linked to your Annual Pass.
- Head to your account and click on ‘My Disneyland Pass’.
- Select the party ticket option and simply follow the on-screen instructions to complete your purchase.
It’s that simple! Just be ready right at 11am (UK time), as these tickets tend to disappear faster than popcorn on Main Street during the fireworks.
What are Annual Pass Parties?
Annual Pass Parties at Disneyland Paris are exclusive after-hours events for Annual Pass holders, offering unique entertainment, rare character meet-and-greets, themed activities, and minimal wait times for attractions.
To take part, you need to purchase an additional ticket for the event. Passholders can also usually buy up to two extra tickets for friends or family members who do not hold a Disneyland Pass. If you are a pass holder with a disability, you are entitled to a 25 percent discount on your ticket, along with a discounted ticket for one accompanying guest.
Tickets are sold online through the official Disneyland Paris website. In our experience, these events can sell out very quickly, particularly when the theme is popular such as Villains or Christmas, or when rare characters are announced. We have also seen events sell out rapidly following announcements that included limited or highly sought after character appearances.
The party usually begins after the park closes, typically between 7:30 pm and 9:00 pm and run until around 2am! Wristband collection is available from the late afternoon, which allows you to smoothly transition into the event once regular day guests have left the parks. If you already have a park reservation for that day, you do not need to exit and re enter the park. You simply collect your wristband and remain inside ready for the evening event.
One of the most enjoyable parts of these evenings is the ability to dress up. Guests are allowed to wear costumes during Passholder Parties, which is not permitted during normal park hours, as long as they follow Disneyland Paris safety rules. This includes no full face masks for adults and no costumes that restrict movement or visibility. It adds a fun extra layer to the experience, especially when outfits match the event theme.
During the event, you can typically expect:
- Exclusive shows and parades created specifically for the evening
- Character meet and greets, often featuring rare or specially costumed characters
- Attractions with very low wait times, including walk on rides in some cases
- Special snacks and limited event merchandise

However, with so much happening across both parks, it is not possible to do everything in one night. From our own experience attending multiple Passholder Parties, planning is essential. It helps to prioritise a few must do experiences in advance, whether that is meeting a rare character, seeing a specific show, or simply enjoying the atmosphere of the parks with lighter crowds and a unique evening setting.
When are Annual Pass Parties?
When the Disneyland Paris Annual Pass system was changed to the Disneyland Pass, a benefit was stated that we would see 4 parties a year. Looking back these followed a pretty consistent pattern:
- March, A spring-themed party (Treasure Night in March 2024, Sounds of Magic in March 2025)
- September, A late summer or “back to school” party (Back to the 2000s in September 2024, Villainous Night in September 2023)
- November, A festive Christmas-themed event (Christmas Nights in November 2023 and 2024)
- One additional event, usually a surprise theme.
Updates to the schedule?
While Disneyland Paris originally communicated the idea of four dedicated Annual Pass events per year when the Disneyland Pass programme was first introduced, this wording has since evolved.
When the Disneyland Pass programme was later refreshed into its current four tier structure, the clear reference to “four events” was removed. It was replaced with a more flexible statement: “Throughout the year, surprises await all Disneyland Pass Members, including special encounters with Disney® Characters and exclusive events.”
In practice, this shift in wording has given Disneyland Paris more flexibility in how and when Passholder experiences are delivered. With it now being June and no dedicated Passholder Party announced yet this year, it naturally raises questions about how the programme is being structured in 2025.
It also makes us wonder whether experiences such as the Passholder preview days for major openings like World of Frozen in March could now be considered part of those “exclusive events” mentioned in the updated wording, rather than separate from the traditional party calendar.

How much at Disneyland Pass Party Tickets
First things first, attending a Disneyland Paris Annual Pass Party comes at an additional cost on top of your Disneyland Pass. The price can vary slightly depending on exchange rates if you are paying in Euros or Pounds, but it is usually around 59-69 euros per person.
This ticket includes full access to the event, including exclusive entertainment, themed experiences, special character meet and greets, and extended access to the parks after regular closing time. Tickets must be purchased in advance online through the official Disneyland Paris channels, as they are not available on the door.

From our own experience attending multiple Passholder Parties, the value really depends on what you want from the night. We tend to choose specific events rather than attending every one, especially as character line ups can sometimes feel similar across different dates. That said, when the theme and entertainment align with your interests, it can feel like a completely different way to experience Disneyland Paris.
Annual Pass Parties are not the only exclusive party at Disneyland Paris
Its worth noting, they are many more exclusive events throughout the year which offer the chance to meet rare characters, see low attraction wait times and be inside the park after it closed. We recently attended a Travel Circus event where the after hours ticket was included FREE as part of our hotel stay and we didn't need to be Passholders!
What’s Included During a Disneyland Paris Annual Pass Party?
When you snap up a ticket for a Disneyland Paris Annual Pass Party, you are not just getting a few extra hours in the park. You are stepping into a specially curated after-hours experience designed to feel very different from a standard day at Disneyland Paris.
Here is what you can usually expect based on our own experience attending multiple events over the years.
Park Access
Your event ticket typically gives you entry to Disneyland Park in the early evening, often from around 5 pm to 6 pm, without needing to use a separate park reservation. This is a great opportunity to head in early, grab a few attractions, or pick up a quick snack before the official party atmosphere begins later in the evening.Wristband System
If you already have a park reservation for that day, you can usually collect your wristband earlier in the afternoon, often around Main Street Station. If you are arriving just for the event, it is worth planning to arrive in good time before the party start, as queues can build up while guests collect wristbands at the entrance points. Getting this done early makes the transition into the event much smoother once regular day guests have left the parks.Exclusive Entertainment
Expect exclusive shows and entertainment positioned across the park, often created specifically for the event. Disneyland Paris has also been known to revisit popular past entertainment or introduce themed performances that tie into the night’s concept. Depending on the event, you may see everything from live stage shows to smaller pop up performances in different areas of the park.Opening and Closing Moments
Most Passholder Parties include an opening moment to officially launch the evening and a closing finale to round things off. Having been lucky enough (and occasionally brave enough!) to attend multiple Disneyland Paris Annual Pass Parties over the years, we can safely say they are a real mixed experience. A lot depends on what you are hoping to get out of the night, and how you approach it.
General vibe of the events
The overall atmosphere at Annual Pass parties is usually lively and positive. There is something genuinely special about being in the parks late at night surrounded by a crowd of passionate Disney fans who really understand the magic of it all. The energy is different from a normal day at Disneyland Paris, with a noticeable buzz that builds as the evening goes on.
That said, the excitement can sometimes spill over into something a bit more chaotic. It is not unusual to see guests rushing between areas, trying to fit in as much as possible in a short space of time. If you prefer a calmer pace, it helps to go in with a plan and accept that you will not be able to do everything.
In terms of organisation and consistency, this is where the events can feel a bit uneven. Some nights are clearly well structured, with strong entertainment flow and plenty to do across the parks. Others feel less refined, particularly when activities such as scavenger hunts are involved and instructions are not always clear for international guests.
We have also noticed that language can play a big role in the overall experience. While Disneyland Paris caters to both French and international visitors during regular park operations, these special events often lean heavily towards French announcements and entertainment, which can leave some guests feeling slightly disconnected if they do not speak the language.
The highlights
Characters
For character fans, these events can be outstanding. Rare characters and special costumes are often the biggest draw, and there is something genuinely exciting about seeing characters you do not normally encounter in the parks. With traditional meet and greet formats now back, it feels more personal and relaxed compared to older selfie style setups.
No queues for attractions
If rides are your priority, you are in for a treat. While many guests focus on characters and shows, attraction queues often become significantly shorter than usual. It is not uncommon to experience near walk on access for major rides, which makes the evening feel very different from a standard park day.
Exclusive shows
The entertainment programme is another strong point. These events often include exclusive shows that are only available during the party nights. Some have been genuinely memorable, and in several cases, they have been a highlight of the entire experience.
The frustrations
Language barriers
One of the most common challenges is the language mix. A large amount of entertainment, announcements, and interactive activities such as scavenger hunts are delivered primarily in French. For non French speaking guests, this can make certain parts of the evening harder to follow.
Character queues

If we were to see any future improvement, a small gesture such as a limited discount or occasional complimentary event entry for pass holders would be a welcome way to recognise loyalty. That said, even at the current price, many guests clearly feel the experience is worthwhile when chosen carefully.
Ultimately, these events work best when expectations are realistic. Go in with a rough plan, accept that you will not see everything, and focus on the experiences that matter most to you. Done right, it can still be one of the most unique ways to experience Disneyland Paris.
Our Top Tips when Attending the Disneyland Paris Annual Pass Parties
If you are planning to attend one of the Disneyland Paris Annual Pass Parties, a bit of preparation really can make a huge difference to your evening. From our own experience, the nights that go smoothly are almost always the ones where we planned ahead, even loosely. Here are our key tips based on attending multiple events over the years.
1. Buy your tickets early
These events are popular, and the most in demand nights such as Villain themed parties or Christmas editions can sell out extremely quickly.
Make sure you are logged into your Disneyland Paris account in advance, have your payment details ready, and be prepared to book as soon as tickets go live. Hesitation often means missing out.
2. Plan your night in advance
Once the event programme is released, usually a few days before the party, take time to go through it properly.
Decide on your priorities, whether that is rare character meet and greets, specific shows, or focusing on attractions. It is important to be realistic here, as you will not be able to do everything in one evening.
We have found it works best to create a loose plan rather than a strict schedule, leaving room to adapt as the night unfolds.
3. Arrive early
If you already have a park reservation for the day, you can usually collect your wristband earlier in the day from the designated location, often around Main Street Station.
If you do not have a park reservation, it is worth arriving well before the official entry time. Queues can build up at the entrance as guests go through ticket checks and wristband collection, so early arrival makes the start of the evening much smoother.
4. Dress for the theme if you want to
Costumes are allowed during Passholder Parties, which adds a fun extra layer to the experience.
Just make sure you follow the rules. Full face coverings are not permitted, and costumes should not include anything sharp, restrictive, or anything that could be confused with official Disney character costumes. Within those guidelines, it is a great opportunity to get creative and enjoy the theme of the night.
5. Be prepared for character queues
If meeting rare characters is a priority, expect to queue.
Some of the most popular meet and greets can build queues well before the event properly begins. If you want to maximise your evening, it is worth deciding early whether you are willing to spend a long time in a queue or would rather focus on shows and attractions.

This is an important one for international guests. A large amount of entertainment, announcements, and interactive activities such as scavenger hunts are delivered primarily in French.

5th December 2025 - Christmas Ball Night
This festive after-hours event transformed Disneyland Paris into a winter celebration filled with castle spectacles, sing-alongs, royal appearances, and late-night dancing. Running from 10pm until 2am, guests enjoyed four hours of exclusive entertainment across the park.

- Live performances and parades along Main Street U.S.A.
- Disney’s Jukebox sing-alongs at Discoveryland Theater

A nostalgic event themed around the Disney magic of the 2000s. Highlights included:
- High School Musical performances
- A Disney Channel dance party in Discoveryland
- A huge 2000s DJ megamix at Central Plaza

22nd March 2024 - Treasure Night
Returning to the interactive scavenger hunt style, guests were asked to join a “Land” and find secret passwords to unlock special zones.
