DISNEYLAND PARIS PRINCESS WEEK CELEBRATION

YOUR ESSENTIAL 2025 GUIDE TO PRINCESS WEEK

World Princess Week at Disneyland Paris

Disneyland Paris Princess Week Guide 2025

updated 28th August 2025

If you’ve ever dreamed of twirling through a castle courtyard or sharing a wave with your favourite Disney Princess, then World Princess Week at Disneyland Paris is your moment to shine. This sparkling celebration rolls out the royal carpet for fans of all ages, packed with magical princess meet-and-greets, dazzling shows, and treats so good even a fairy godmother would approve.

World Princess Week usually takes over the last week of August like a fairy tale finale to the summer — complete with extra tiaras, sparkles, and a healthy dose of Disney magic. For 2025, Disneyland Paris has confirmed that the royal celebrations will run from 23rd to 31st August. So if you’re planning your regal getaway, those are the dates to circle in your calendar. And if you want to stay one step ahead of any pixie-dusted updates, sign up to our free newsletter and we’ll make sure you’re the first to know what’s happening in the parks.

During Princess Week, the parks truly transform. You can meet beloved princesses from classic tales like Cinderella and Aurora, to modern royalty like Rapunzel and Meria. Special shows light up the stages, bringing even more sparkle to your day, while exclusive snacks and treats tempt you at every corner — think cupcakes as pretty as Belle’s ballgown and drinks that shimmer like Ariel’s tail.

The full program for the 2025 Princess Week at Disneyland Paris has now been released showing meet and greets with all 13 official Disney Princesses are: Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Mulan, Tiana, Rapunzel, Merida, Moana, including for the first time ever Raya, new Princess themed drinks will be available, but unfortunately this year will not feature a dedicated Princess show!

2025 Princess Week at Disneyland Paris

The meet and greet line-up includes Pocahontas, Merida, Tiana, Mulan, Jasmine, Belle, and Cinderella. That is a pretty impressive guest list and it covers some of the harder-to-meet fan favourites – which is why we saw 4-6 hours for some of them!

There are also selfie spots where you can meet Snow White and Raya (who was visiting for the first time ever!). These are great if you prefer quick interactions without the longer queue times.

On the balcony of Sleeping Beauty Castle you will find two mini shows. The first features Princess Minnie, complete with her own royal flair. The second stars Aurora, greeting guests in true Sleeping Beauty style. Both shows are short and sweet, perfect for catching between rides.

The Princess Pavilion continues with a virtual queue system. This is the only way to meet certain princesses and it works on a one-per-day basis. During our visit we met Moana on the first day and Snow White the next. It is always a surprise which princess you will find, so plan ahead and treat it like a royal lucky dip.

Other princess-themed entertainment is linked to Disney Music Festival. Here you will see Moana with her musicians as well as a fun Rapunzel and Flynn show that always gets the crowd involved, and of course you can still many princesses during the daily Disney Stars on Parade!

.

Now, you may have noticed one name missing so far. Ariel. The Little Mermaid herself is not part of the main line-up this year. The only way we spotted her was through princess dining at Auberge and the Table de Lumière in the Disneyland Hotel. So if she is top of your list, be sure to book a dining experience rather than relying on the park schedule.

Collectable Cards at Princess Week 2025

No Disneyland Paris event feels complete without the chase for collectable cards. Over the years we have seen them pop up for everything from Stitch Day to Fantastic Four meet and greets, and of course who could forget the great Princess Card Dash a few years ago. That one had guests practically sprinting across the park to complete their sets.

The good news for 2025 is that things are a little calmer. This year there are just two cards to collect. That means no frantic trading in the queues or hunting down cast members like you are on some kind of royal treasure hunt. It keeps the tradition alive without turning the week into a full-time card collecting marathon.

They are still a lovely keepsake though, and for many fans these cards become as memorable as the meet and greets themselves. If you have been building your collection, you will definitely want to grab these two while you can.

Princess Week Drinks and Snacks at Fleur de Lys Bar

Of course, no Disneyland Paris event would be complete without some themed snacks and drinks, and for Princess Week 2025 the spotlight was on the Fleur de Lys Bar inside the Disneyland Hotel. There were two main options, and they were as much about the storytelling as the taste.

Triple Trouble

  • Inspired by Merida’s mischievous little brothers, this tray included two small drinks and a tartlet for 15 euros. The presentation was really fun, like a mini feast the triplets themselves would sneak off with.
  • The first drink was a mix of blueberry and cranberry nectars, red fruit syrup with spices, vanilla whipped cream, spiruline, and black charcoal. It looked unusual but actually tasted great, though it leaned on the sour side. If you enjoy tart flavours, you would probably love this.
  • The second drink was a blend of pineapple juice, pear and apricot nectars, orgeat syrup, and pistachio paste whipped cream. This one really divided us. Neither of us could get past the strong marzipan flavour that lingered far longer than we would have liked.
  • Luckily, the blueberry and violet tartlet saved the day. It packed a surprising punch of flavour and was the highlight of the tray. If we could have had a second tart instead of the pistachio drink, we would have been thrilled.

Faithful Friend of Atlantica

  • This cocktail was the premium option at 25 euros and inspired by Ariel. Its made with almond liqueur, lemon gin, pineapple juice, lemon, cane syrup, fleur de sel, and topped with lemon pepper vinegar pearls. The name and theme tie it to Ariel’s undersea world, and it certainly delivered on presentation. The cast member even showed us how to mix the pearls into the drink for the full effect.
  • The issue was the flavour. It was incredibly salty, which may work thematically but did not work for our taste buds. It ended up being more of a novelty than a drink we actually enjoyed. That said, if you are the kind of fan who loves trying something just for the unique experience, it might be worth ordering once.

What Is World Princess Week?

World Princess Week at Disneyland Paris celebrates the diverse and inspiring qualities of Disney Princess characters. It’s a time when the parks pull out all the stops to honour the bravery, kindness, and spirit of Disney Princesses. Whether you grew up spinning in Cinderella dresses or you’ve only recently fallen for Rapunzel’s adventurous spirit, this event is pure magic for fans of every age.

During the week, you’ll find even more chances to meet your favourite princesses (not just at the Princess Pavilion), catch exclusive shows, and enjoy themed treats that look almost too pretty to eat (we said almost!).

It’s not just about watching from the sidelines either. Princess Week invites you to step into the story — whether that means getting a royal makeover, snapping a photo with Snow White, or dancing along during a special show. It’s one of the most enchanting times to visit Disneyland Paris, and honestly, everything around Sleeping Beauty Castle seems a bit more glamorous during Princess Week.

When is Princess Week at Disneyland Paris?

Disneyland Paris has officially confirmed that World Princess Week will take place from 23rd to 31st August 2025. That’s nine magical days of royal fun, special surprises, and all the sparkle your heart could possibly handle. This year’s theme is “Disney Princess – Create Your World”, which sounds like the perfect excuse to dust off your tiara and channel your inner royal.

So yes, you can absolutely start practising your royal wave now. And if you want to stay ahead of any new announcements or enchanting extras, sign up to our emails and we’ll keep you in the loop quicker than you can say Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo.

Does Princess Week happen every year?

Yes, World Princess Week is a yearly tradition at Disneyland Paris! Since it first twirled onto the scene, Princess Week has become a much-loved part of the resort’s calendar, bringing a special kind of magic to the parks every summer.

Each year, the celebrations seem to grow a little bigger and a little more sparkling. Disneyland Paris loves to sprinkle in new surprises, whether that’s fresh shows, different princess appearances, or extra-special treats (seriously, it’s a wonder our suitcases ever make it home without being stuffed with themed goodies).

While dates and details can vary slightly from year to year, the spirit of the event stays the same — a heartfelt celebration of courage, kindness, and the timeless magic of Disney Princesses. If you’re a planner (or just someone who likes having an excuse to wear a crown on holiday), Princess Week is definitely one to pop on your Disney calendar.

A Royal welcome from Princess Minnie

There’s no better way to start a magical day at Disneyland Paris than with a royal wave from Minnie Mouse herself! During World Princess Week, Minnie adds an extra sprinkle of sparkle by appearing each morning on Main Street Station, dressed in her beautiful princess gown and crown.

As guests enter the park, Minnie will be there to greet everyone with a wave and a smile, setting the tone for a truly regal day ahead. It’s a simple but special moment!

Special Princess Shows and Parades

The programme for 2025 has just been released and this confirms that the Princess Show will not take place this year. We’ve hinted at that over the past few weeks, and its now confirmed!

When it comes to World Princess Week, usually Disneyland Paris truly knows how to put on a show — or several! Over the years, the resort has treated guests to a variety of royal performances, each one more enchanting than the last. Just take a look at the video above for the highlights from last year’s show!

In the past, we’ve seen the elegant Royal Promenade and the charming Aurora’s Greeting take place at the back of Sleeping Beauty Castle. Over on the Castle Stage, princess-themed shows added an extra sparkle, featuring stunning costumes, beautiful music, and magical story moments straight from your favourite films.

More recently, performances have shifted to the Central Plaza hub, right in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle. It’s the perfect spot, giving everyone a fantastic view no matter where you’re standing — and it creates a truly magical atmosphere right in the heart of the park.

Looking at the 2025 celebration, official Princess show wont take place, likely due to the ongoing Disney Music Festival. The Castle Stage is still closed for refurbishment, and while Central Plaza remains the heart of the action, the current entertainment schedule is already packed with musical magic from Goofy’s Imaginary Orchestra. So while we might not get a royal stage performance this time, you can still expect some charming princess moments popping up around the park. Keep your camera ready — you never know when a royal guest might appear.

World Princess Week Food Guide

One of the sweetest parts of World Princess Week — quite literally — is the special line-up of princess-inspired snacks and drinks that pop up across Disneyland Paris. The 2025 line up has started to be shared. Raise a glass to the brave, bold and brilliant, as this years Disneyland Paris are showcasing the Princess sidekicks, with new exclusive drinks at Fleur de Lys Bar at the Disneyland Paris.

Flounders Splash, a tropical inspired cocktails and mocktail thats as bright and refreshing as Ariels best friend

The Triplet Treat, A wile and whimsical blend paying tribute to Merida mischievous brothers, Hamish, Harris and Hubert!

We hope to see more snacks added to the Princess treat line-up over the next 2 weeks, as these are not only instagramable but usually tasty too!

Which Princesses can you meet?

Disneyland Paris will be rolling out the red carpet (or more accurately, the velvet one) for all 13 official Disney Princesses. That means you have the chance to meet:

Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Mulan, Tiana, Rapunzel, Merida, Moana, and—drumroll please—for the first time ever, Raya.

Yes, Raya! She’s the newest addition to the royal line-up and honestly, it’s about time.

Now, a quick reality check (because we’re all friends here): while all 13 princesses are official, that doesn’t mean they’re all hanging out in the same queue or available on the same day. Who you’ll meet depends on the day, and a bit of pixie dust luck as the queues for some princesses will be longer than others!

Where to see Princesses at Disneyland Paris

Meeting a Disney Princess is one of the absolute highlights of World Princess Week — and during this special celebration, there are more chances than ever to have your very own royal encounter.

You’ll always find princesses at the Princess Pavilion in Fantasyland, offering magical meet-and-greets throughout the year. No reservations are needed — simply join the queue and get ready to meet a Disney Princess face-to-face. It’s a classic experience and perfect for capturing that picture-perfect moment. However, this may change in the future as plans to introduce a virtual queue are being discussed.

For an extra touch of magic, guests can also book character dining experiences at places like Auberge de Cendrillon in Fantasyland or La Table de Lumière at the Disneyland Hotel These locations offer unforgettable moments, with princesses visiting tables during your meal.

But during World Princess Week, the magic doesn’t stop there. You’ll find even more princesses meeting guests all around the park!

During World Princess Week, the magic feels even more alive as princesses pop up all across Disneyland Paris. From spotting Merida in Frontierland to finding Belle in Fantasyland, you never quite know who you might meet around the next corner. While these aren’t usually roaming appearances (you’ll find proper queue lines at each spot), the surprise of discovering princesses outside their usual locations adds an extra layer of excitement to your day. It’s a little bit like a royal treasure hunt — and every meeting is a memory waiting to happen!
