Latest Disneyland Paris School Holiday Discounts!
If you’re looking for the cheapest time to visit Disneyland Paris during the school holidays, it’s worth keeping an eye on where deals are appearing rather than focusing on one specific week.
Late August can still offer decent value before prices shift into autumn. Current packages include 2 nights and 3 days at Disney Hotel Santa Fe for arrivals on 23 August 2026, which sits right at the end of the summer holidays when demand starts to ease slightly.
These types of offers show that even within school holidays, there are pockets where prices dip. If you can be flexible by a few days, you’ll usually find better value without missing out on the seasonal events.
Which is the quietest school holiday to visit Disneyland Paris?
If you’re limited to school holidays, some periods are noticeably quieter than others. The February half term is usually the calmest, as many European families head to the Alps for ski trips rather than theme parks. This often makes it one of the cheaper school holiday options, and a good chance to visit Disneyland Paris with shorter queues.
Easter is at the other end of the scale. It’s typically the busiest school holiday, with higher prices and longer wait times across the parks. If you can avoid peak Easter weeks, it’s worth doing.
The May half term sits somewhere in the middle. Crowds are still there, but they’re usually more manageable than Easter, and prices can be slightly lower depending on your dates.
October half term is another popular time to visit, especially with the Halloween season in full swing. It does get busy, but the seasonal atmosphere makes it a great time to go if you don’t mind a bit more crowd for the experience.
Halloween Season: Cheapest Time to Visit
Halloween at Disneyland Paris is a brilliant time to visit, with themed decorations, seasonal shows, and characters in their Halloween outfits. If you want to experience it without paying peak prices, timing makes a big difference.
For 2026, the Halloween season is longer than ever, running from 26 September to 1 November. That extended window gives you more flexibility to find better-value dates.
Mid-October is usually the best balance between price and experience. Early dates at the end of September and start of October can still be reasonably priced, especially before crowds build and during the October school holidays. By contrast, the first few days and the final weeks leading up to Halloween itself tend to be the busiest and most expensive.
Visiting in mid-October often means slightly lower hotel and package prices compared to peak dates, along with more manageable queues. You’ll still get the full Halloween atmosphere, just without the same level of crowd pressure you see closer to 31 October.
This period works well because it sits between the initial rush at the start of the season and the surge of visitors arriving for the final Halloween week. It’s a quieter pocket where you can still enjoy everything the season offers.
Christmas Season: Cheapest Time to Visit
Christmas at Disneyland Paris is one of the most popular times to visit, with festive decorations, seasonal shows, and the whole park lit up for the holidays. It’s a busy period, but there are still ways to experience it without paying the highest prices.
For 2026, Disney Enchanted Christmas runs from 7 November 2026 to 6 January 2027. That gives you a long window to visit, and where you fall within it has a big impact on cost and crowd levels.
Late November is usually the best option if you’re looking for better value. Prices are often lower in the first few weeks of the season, before demand picks up in December. You’ll still get the full Christmas experience, including decorations, parades, and seasonal entertainment, just without the peak pricing.
By the time December arrives, especially closer to Christmas and New Year, both prices and crowds increase sharply. This is when demand is highest, and it shows in both hotel rates and queue times across the parks.
Late November works well because it sits just after the season begins, when everything is already in place but visitor numbers haven’t reached their peak. You can enjoy the Christmas atmosphere with shorter queues and a more relaxed pace.
If you’re trying to find the cheapest time to visit Disneyland Paris during the Christmas season, aim for mid to late November. You’ll still get the full festive experience, just with lower prices and fewer crowds.
Limited time Christmas offer...
Christmas is always a popular time to visit Disneyland Paris, and while offers do appear, timing your booking matters just as much as your travel dates.
We usually see Christmas deals released in late summer to early autumn, often covering stays through November and December. These can offer good value, especially for packages that include both hotel stays and park tickets. For reference, last year’s offers included packages from around £139 per person per night for a 2-night, 3-day stay at Disney Davy Crockett Ranch, based on a family of four arriving on selected November and December dates.
That said, booking early can sometimes work out cheaper, as prices tend to rise once demand builds closer to Christmas. We’ve often seen lower prices available when booking as soon as dates are released, before seasonal demand pushes them up.
If you book directly with Disneyland Paris, there’s also some flexibility. The Zen Guarantee means that if a better offer is released after you’ve booked, you can switch to the new deal without losing out.
In practice, this means you don’t always need to wait for a specific Christmas offer. Booking early and then adjusting if prices improve is often one of the simplest ways to keep costs down during the festive season.

In October 2026 the Halloween season is already underway following its start on 26th September. This means you can expect full seasonal theming throughout the month, with the atmosphere building steadily as the month progresses.
Cheapest Dates to Visit
The first half of October (1st to 12th) is usually the best window for value and lighter crowds. Midweek stays in this period often give you shorter wait times and better hotel availability. Why visit in January?
January is one of the quietest and most affordable months to visit Disneyland Paris. Early in the month you may still catch the tail end of the Christmas season, followed by a clear drop in crowds once the holiday period ends. The parks feel much calmer, with shorter wait times and more relaxed access to attractions and dining. The weather is cold, but the trade-off is strong value and a slower pace.
Cheapest Dates to Visit
The best value period is mid to late January, when hotel prices are at their lowest and crowds are minimal. This is when you will usually find the strongest deals, with weekday stays offering the best combination of price and availability.

Disneyland Paris Package FAQ's
When is the cheapest time to go to Disneyland Paris?
Disneyland Paris is open all year with rides, shows and parades running daily, but the time you choose to visit makes a noticeable difference to price and crowd levels.
If you want shorter queues, fewer crowds and lower hotel prices, mid-week stays from Tuesday to Thursday are often the most practical option. The quieter travel periods tend to fall between mid-January and mid-March, mid-April to mid-May and throughout November, although French public holidays can affect how busy the parks feel.
January is one of the lowest-priced months for Disneyland Paris hotels. Some of the cheapest stays include Santa Fe from around £88 and Davy Crockett Ranch from about £82, with Cheyenne starting just above £96. Newport Bay can drop to just under £100 on certain dates. It is also one of the quietest times in the parks, so ride wait times are usually shorter. The trade-off is colder weather and shorter days.
It can also work well for families with younger children. The evening show takes place earlier, often around 8pm, which makes it easier to stay for the end of the day without a very late night in the parks.
February is another relatively good-value month, with prices for Santa Fe starting around £95 and Newport Bay from about £108. Even during the February school holiday period, lower-priced options like Santa Fe and Cheyenne tend to stay more affordable compared to peak seasons.
March continues the pattern of lower to mid-range pricing, with Santa Fe starting under £100 on selected dates and Sequoia Lodge and Cheyenne also sitting at more moderate levels. It is still generally quieter than peak summer months, especially outside weekends.
November is another strong option for lower prices, with Davy Crockett Ranch from around £117 and Santa Fe from about £133. Cheyenne also remains relatively low at around £137 on selected dates. This month can also overlap with the transition between Halloween and Christmas theming, depending on timing.
December varies more, but early and mid-month dates can still offer better value, with Santa Fe from around £128 and Cheyenne from about £131. Prices rise closer to Christmas week.
If you are looking for longer park opening hours and more time in the parks, late spring and early autumn can work better, particularly weekdays in May and September. These periods balance more comfortable weather with moderate crowd levels, although prices are generally higher than the winter months.

How many days do I need at Disneyland Paris?
Do you want to visit for just a single day or multiple days? You can buy Disneyland Paris tickets for 1 to 4 days, and if you choose a ticket for 2 days or more, it automatically allows you visit both Disney Parks on the same day, also known as a ‘Park Hopper’ ticket. This means you can “hop” between Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park as often as you like, giving you more flexibility and fun during your visit!
The Disneyland Paris website suggests that three days is the best amount of time to explore the parks and here’s why:
Two Days for Disneyland Park: This park has five amazing themed areas, so having two days lets you watch the shows, ride attractions, watch the parades, night-time fireworks and drone shows.
One Day for Disney Adventure World: This park is undergoing a major expansion at the moment, however, as World of Frozen is now open there’s still a lot to see including shows and fantastic attractions such as Frozen Ever After, Crush’s Coaster and Tower of Terror, with planning you can usually see everything you want within a day.
If you want a more relaxed experience we would recommend 4 days, as this gives you time to re-watch the awesome shows and parades, ride attractions again and not feel like you’ve rushed around the parks.
