If you’re looking for the cheapest time to visit Disneyland Paris during the school holidays, it’s worth keeping an eye on where deals are appearing rather than focusing on one specific week.

Late August can still offer decent value before prices shift into autumn. Current packages include 2 nights and 3 days at Disney Hotel Santa Fe for arrivals on 23 August 2026, which sits right at the end of the summer holidays when demand starts to ease slightly.

Which is the quietest school holiday to visit Disneyland Paris?

If you’re limited to school holidays, some periods are noticeably quieter than others. Christmas Season: Cheapest Time to Visit

Christmas at Disneyland Paris is one of the most popular times to visit, with festive decorations, seasonal shows, and the whole park lit up for the holidays. It’s a busy period, but there are still ways to experience it without paying the highest prices.

For 2026, Disney Enchanted Christmas runs from 7 November 2026 to 6 January 2027. That gives you a long window to visit, and where you fall within it has a big impact on cost and crowd levels.

Late November is usually the best option if you’re looking for better value. Prices are often lower in the first few weeks of the season, before demand picks up in December. You’ll still get the full Christmas experience, including decorations, parades, and seasonal entertainment, just without the peak pricing.

We usually see Christmas deals released in late summer to early autumn, often covering stays through November and December. These can offer good value, especially for packages that include both hotel stays and park tickets. For reference, last year’s offers included packages from around £139 per person per night for a 2-night, 3-day stay at Disney Davy Crockett Ranch, based on a family of four arriving on selected November and December dates.

That said, booking early can sometimes work out cheaper, as prices tend to rise once demand builds closer to Christmas. We’ve often seen lower prices available when booking as soon as dates are released, before seasonal demand pushes them up.

If you book directly with Disneyland Paris, there’s also some flexibility. The Zen Guarantee means that if a better offer is released after you’ve booked, you can switch to the new deal without losing out.

In practice, this means you don’t always need to wait for a specific Christmas offer. Booking early and then adjusting if prices improve is often one of the simplest ways to keep costs down during the festive season.

When is the cheapest time to go to Disneyland Paris?

Disneyland Paris is open all year with rides, shows and parades running daily, but the time you choose to visit makes a noticeable difference to price and crowd levels.

If you want shorter queues, fewer crowds and lower hotel prices, mid-week stays from Tuesday to Thursday are often the most practical option. The quieter travel periods tend to fall between mid-January and mid-March, mid-April to mid-May and throughout November, although French public holidays can affect how busy the parks feel.

January is one of the lowest-priced months for Disneyland Paris hotels. Some of the cheapest stays include Santa Fe from around £88 and Davy Crockett Ranch from about £82, with Cheyenne starting just above £96. Newport Bay can drop to just under £100 on certain dates. It is also one of the quietest times in the parks, so ride wait times are usually shorter. The trade-off is colder weather and shorter days.

It can also work well for families with younger children. The evening show takes place earlier, often around 8pm, which makes it easier to stay for the end of the day without a very late night in the parks.

February is another relatively good-value month, with prices for Santa Fe starting around £95 and Newport Bay from about £108. Even during the February school holiday period, lower-priced options like Santa Fe and Cheyenne tend to stay more affordable compared to peak seasons.

March continues the pattern of lower to mid-range pricing, with Santa Fe starting under £100 on selected dates and Sequoia Lodge and Cheyenne also sitting at more moderate levels. It is still generally quieter than peak summer months, especially outside weekends.

November is another strong option for lower prices, with Davy Crockett Ranch from around £117 and Santa Fe from about £133. Cheyenne also remains relatively low at around £137 on selected dates. This month can also overlap with the transition between Halloween and Christmas theming, depending on timing.

December varies more, but early and mid-month dates can still offer better value, with Santa Fe from around £128 and Cheyenne from about £131. Prices rise closer to Christmas week.

If you are looking for longer park opening hours and more time in the parks, late spring and early autumn can work better, particularly weekdays in May and September. How many days do I need at Disneyland Paris?
