How to book special-rate Disney Park tickets

Let’s start with the foundation of your magical adventure—tickets and accommodations. The great news is Disneyland Paris offers discounted rates for guests with disabilities, making it easier to experience all the magic while keeping your budget happy.

Here’s everything you need to know:

Booking Tickets with Accessibility Discounts

Guests with disabilities are entitled to discounted park tickets (25% discount), which can be purchased online before your trip. Please be aware that the discount will be applied to the new dynamic pricing structure, therefore we always advise you book your tickets as soon as possible.

To claim your tickets, you’ll need to present valid proof of disability upon arrival, so keep those official documents handy and remember to take them to the park with you.

When purchasing special-rate park tickets, you can buy up to two tickets—one for yourself and one for your ‘carer.’ This discount applies to both adult and child tickets, or even a mix of the two. Tickets are available for single-day, 2-day, or 3-day visits, giving you flexibility based on your plans.

Important to know: On the day of your visit, you must bring an original, valid proof of disability and your ID to the ticket counters. This is essential to validate your discounted ticket and to collect your Priority or Easy Access Card. Keep in mind that your Priority Card must be shown alongside your ticket to enter the parks. Without valid documentation, you won’t be able to use the discounted rate and may need to pay the full ticket price.

How to Book Accessible Accommodation

Disney hotels are designed with magic and comfort in mind, and this extends to their accessibility options. Whether you need wheelchair-accessible rooms, roll-in showers, or kits for hearing impairments, Disney hotels have you covered. Just be sure to mention your specific needs during booking to ensure the perfect setup.

For example, if you’re considering Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne (known for its cowboy charm), remember it doesn’t have lifts—so all accessible rooms are on the ground floor. Prefer something closer to the parks? Hotels like the Disneyland Hotel and Disney’s Hotel New York – Art of Marvel are ideal for minimizing walking distances.

How to book? You can book directly through Disney’s website to secure your tickets and accommodations in one go. It’s a convenient way to bundle everything together and ensures you get the best deals.

Pro Tip: Book Early

Accessible rooms are in high demand, so it’s best to book as early as possible. If you’re not sure which hotel is right for you, click here to out our detailed guide on the best Disney hotels for accessibility.

With your tickets booked and accommodations sorted, you’re already halfway to your dream Disney getaway. Next up, let’s talk about the accessibility cards and how they can improve your park experience.

Accessibility Cards at Disneyland Paris

Disneyland Paris offers two fantastic options to help guests with disabilities make the most of their visit: the Priority Card and the Easy Access Card. If you’re familiar with the DAS (Disability Access Service) system in the U.S. parks, you’ll see some similarities here.

Both cards are designed to ensure guests have a smoother experience on attractions and shows. However, unlike DAS—which allows you to book return times via an app—Disneyland Paris’ system works differently, with the Easy Access Card requiring a visit to the attraction to get a return time, while the Priority Card offers a more streamlined approach.

let discuss both of these options in more detail below…

Easy Access Card

The Easy Access Card is designed for guests with a long-term chronic illness or condition that affects your ability to queue. With this card, you’ll visit the entrance of an attraction to request a return time—so you can enjoy other parts of the park until it’s your turn to ride.

This card is a great way to experience the magic without being tied to lengthy waits, offering flexibility and comfort.

Below you will find the list of chronic diseases or long-term pathologies according to the ALD (Affections de longue durée) numbered list drawn up by the French Ministry of Health and recognised at Disneyland Paris.

Priority Card

The Priority Card, on the other hand, is a dream for guests with disabilities who want to access attractions without booking a specific return time. While it doesn’t guarantee immediate access, it significantly shortens your wait time for attractions.

Guests with the priority card can also book return times with characters. A limited number of these are available each day, and once they have been distributed no more will be available for the day. The exception to this is at Meet Mickey and the Princess Pavilion. At these two locations guests join the disability queue and wait in line for the meet and greet.

In addition to this the card provides guests with priority spots for shows, parades and checkouts at the restaurants and shops.

Accessible Attractions, Dining, and Entertainment

Disneyland Paris has worked its magic to ensure every guest can enjoy the parks to the fullest, no matter their accessibility needs. From thrilling attractions to enchanting shows and dining experiences, here’s what you need to know to make the most of your visit.

Attractions
Disneyland Paris features a range of accessible attractions, with some offering specially adapted ride vehicles that allow guests to board directly from their wheelchairs. For attractions that require a transfer, helpful Cast Members and transfer boards are available to make the process smoother (but you’ll need to bring an accompanying person to assist if required). Keep an eye out for the Accessibility Map, which details which attractions are wheelchair-friendly and lists any restrictions, such as strobe effects or height requirements.

Dining
Every table-service restaurant across the parks is wheelchair accessible, and many are equipped with induction loops for guests with hearing impairments. Service dogs are also welcome, and there’s even an audio description service available via the free Audiospot app. Just let a Cast Member know if you need assistance, and they’ll be happy to guide you. Whether you’re craving a Mickey-shaped snack or a gourmet meal, dining at Disneyland Paris is as magical as ever!

Shows and Entertainment
Priority Card holders can access designated viewing areas for parades and fireworks—just check with a Cast Member early, as space is limited. Theatres are also equipped with induction loops and dedicated spaces for guests with reduced mobility, so everyone can enjoy those jaw-dropping performances.

Character Meet and Greets
Meeting your favorite Disney characters is a highlight of any trip, and Disneyland Paris ensures that selfie spots and meet-and-greet locations are accessible. If you have specific needs, just chat with a nearby Cast Member—they’re experts at sprinkling extra pixie dust to make your experience unforgettable.

Disneyland Paris is committed to creating a magical experience for every guest. With a little planning and help from the incredible Cast Members, you’ll find that the parks are designed to be enjoyed by everyone!

Preparing for Your Visit

Before you head off to experience the magic of Disneyland Paris, a little preparation goes a long way. Here’s your quick checklist to ensure everything runs as smoothly as a ride on “It’s a Small World”:

  • Priority or Easy Access Cards: If you’re eligible, apply for your Priority or Easy Access Card online up to one month before your visit, or plan to bring the necessary documents to request it at the park.
  • Proof of Disability and ID: Don’t leave home without an original copy of your official documentation (such as a government-issued certificate) and a valid photo ID. You’ll need these to validate your accessibility tickets and cards.
  • Accessibility Guide and Park Maps: Download the Disneyland Paris Accessibility Guide and Park Map ahead of time to familiarize yourself with accessible routes, facilities, and attractions. They’re also available on-site, but having them beforehand gives you a head start.
  • Comfort Items: Think about personal essentials like mobility aids, hearing devices, or any special equipment you might need during your stay.
  • Hotel Confirmation: Double-check that your hotel has noted your accessibility requirements and any additional requests, like adapted showers or bath seats.

With everything checked off, you’ll be ready to focus on making magical memories!
