What's happening at Disneyland Paris this year (2026)
In 2026, Disneyland Paris will step into a brand new era, and honestly, it feels like one of those years we will all talk about for ages. Big changes are coming, and they are the kind that make even seasoned Disney fans do a double take.
March 2026 will be a huge milestone as World of Frozen officially opens its gates. Yes, Arendelle is finally arriving, and it will be worth the wait. At the same time, Walt Disney Studios Park will officially change its name to Disney Adventure World. This is more than a new sign at the entrance. It marks a shift towards bigger stories, richer theming, and a park that feels more immersive from the moment you walk in.
As night falls, Disney Adventure World will debut a brand new nighttime show called Cascade of Lights. This new spectacle will bring together music, light, and storytelling to end the day on a proper Disney high. Think of it as the perfect finale after a full day of adventure, when your feet are tired but your heart is very full.
There will also be some changes to the entertainment lineup. The Disney Music Festival will not return in 2026, but it is not a full goodbye. Several much loved elements will move into Disney Adventure World instead. You can still expect to see favourites like Mary Poppins, Rapunzel and Flynn, Miguel’s Fiesta, and Minnie’s Marching Band bringing energy and colour to the park in new ways and new locations.
The headline season for 2026 will be the return of Million Splashes of Colour. This vibrant celebration will once again fill the park with bold visuals, upbeat music, and that joyful Disney atmosphere that makes you want to stop and watch just one more parade. It is bright, it is fun, and it feels like pure Disneyland Paris.
2026 is shaping up to be a standout year, full of fresh beginnings and familiar favourites. It is the kind of year that reminds you why planning a Disneyland Paris trip is half the fun.
