TOY STORY 5 CELEBRATION AT DISNEYLAND PARIS
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW TO ENJOY THE CELEBRATION!
Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5 arrives in cinemas on 17th June 2026, and to celebrate, Disneyland Paris has launched a limited-time Toy Story celebration in Disney Adventure World running until the 30th September 2026 .
We visited on opening day to experience everything on offer, from the new character meet and greet to the Pizza Planet truck hunt, themed snacks and exclusive merchandise. While you could easily spend the whole day exploring, we found you can experience most of what’s available in just a few hours, depending on whether you’re lucky enough to secure a Virtual Queue for the character meet.
Here’s what we found.

The celebration runs from 17th June until 30th September 2026 in Disney Adventure World. The experiences are spread across Worlds of Pixar and Animation Celebration, making them easy to include alongside the park’s attractions.

Our Top Tip: Join the Virtual Queue First
The Virtual Queue opens twice daily at 9:45am and again at 2pm through the Disneyland Paris app. Once you've secured a place, you'll be given a countdown, which means you can continue exploring the park instead of standing in a queue.
The new backdrop is colourful and makes for some great photos, especially with a Disney PhotoPass photographer on hand. It was also great to see Woody and Jessie’s new accessories, alongside Lilypad making their first Disneyland Paris appearance.
Although we loved the set, compared to the other Disney parks Buzz isn’t part of the meet and greet. Given this is a Toy Story celebration, it would have been nice to see the whole gang together.
One thing that’s worth knowing before you join the virtual queue is that the waiting area wraps around the back of the room. That means around 10 to 20 guests may be able to see your character interaction before it’s your turn. It wasn’t an issue for us, but if you’re travelling with someone who’s a little shy, it’s useful to know in advance.
If meeting Woody, Jessie and Lilypad is high on your list, set those reminders and make this one of your first jobs of the day.
One thing we did notice is that Woody and Jessie are normally found meeting guests in Worlds of Pixar with relatively short queues, but this new location does have a better backdrop and their wearing new accessories. Their usual location is now home to Mr and Mrs Incredible and Bo Peep while the celebration is taking place.
Don't Wait Too Long if You Want to Meet Jessie
One important date to remember is 3rd July 2026.
Jessie is only scheduled to appear as part of the Toy Story 5 character encounter until this date. If meeting both Woody and Jessie together is on your Disneyland Paris wish list, we’d recommend planning your visit before then.
At the time of writing, Disneyland Paris hasn’t confirmed where Jessie will appear after 3rd July. She may return to her usual meet and greet location in Worlds of Pixar, but that’s yet to be announced.
We’ll update this guide as soon as we know what happens next.
The Drawing Class Is One of the Best Activities
Animation Celebration continues to host drawing lessons, this time featuring Woody, Jessie, Lilypad and the rest of the Toy Story gang.
The session lasts around 20 minutes and everyone gets to take their artwork home.
We’ve always enjoyed these classes. On a previous visit we drew Winnie the Pooh before heading to meet him, and he even signed our picture. We’ll definitely be doing the same with our Toy Story drawings.
Although it’s suitable for all ages, we’d recommend parents draw alongside younger children so everyone gets the most from the experience.
The Pizza Planet Truck Hunt Was More Fun Than We Expected
There are 15 customised Pizza Planet trucks hidden throughout Worlds of Pixar. Each truck is themed to a different attraction or character, and some are more hidden than others.
Yes, we found them all. No, we’re not telling you where they are…yet. We want you to enjoy finding them!
Part of the fun is discovering them yourself, and some of the designs are brilliant. A few are much harder to spot than others, so we’d recommend doing the hunt earlier in the day before the pathways become busier.
Toy Story Merchandise Worth Looking Out For
Animation Boutique has taken over with more than 180 Toy Story items, including 16 new products inspired by Toy Story 5.
The standout items for us were the shoulder plushes, especially Rex wearing sunglasses and a rubber ring. We’d be surprised if those aren’t among the most popular souvenirs this summer.
Which Toy Story Snacks Are Worth Buying?
We tried several of the themed snacks during our visit.
The Lilypad doughnut was our favourite and one we’d happily buy again.
The Alien biscuit looked the part but was quite dry, while the Emperor Zurg Burger was fairly ordinary. Apart from the Toy Story branding on top of the bun, it didn’t feel particularly themed.
Its the usual thing with Disneyland Paris, they look better than they taste, and some don’t even look like the photo!
Don't Forget to Look Down - Water Art
As you walk towards Animation Celebration, keep an eye out for the Toy Story water art.
We’ve seen similar water art featuring Mickey and many other characters in the past, so it’s nice to see more of these playful details around the park. Just don’t expect it to appear at set times, as it’s very much a case of being in the right place at the right time, and they wont stay around for long!
Is the Toy Story 5 Celebration Worth It?
We think it’s a fun addition to Disney Adventure World rather than a reason to book a trip on its own. If you’re already visiting Disneyland Paris this summer, it adds several enjoyable experiences without taking up your entire day.
Our advice would be to secure the Virtual Queue first, enjoy the Pizza Planet truck hunt while crowds are lower and make time for the drawing class, which remains one of the hidden gems of Animation Celebration.
The only disappointment for us was not seeing Buzz alongside Woody, Jessie and Lilypad, but overall it’s a nice celebration that adds plenty of extra Toy Story magic to the park.
