DISNEYLAND PARIS PRIDE GUIDE
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW: FROM AFTER HOUR PARTIES TO INCLUSIVE EVENTS
If you already think Disneyland Paris is magical, experiencing it during Pride adds a different kind of energy entirely. Disneyland Paris Pride brings together classic Disney storytelling with a colourful celebration of love, identity, and inclusion. It’s a day for Disney fans, Pride supporters, and anyone simply looking for a fun, uplifting visit with a bit more sparkle than usual.
This guide covers everything you need to know, including when the next Disneyland Paris Pride is expected to take place (hint June 2026), whether you need additional tickets, and what the event is actually like in practice.
Having attended both the after-hours ticketed Pride events and the more recent low-key celebrations included with standard park entry, the difference is clear. The after-hours event felt far more complete, with more entertainment, more to see and do, and a proper party atmosphere where guests genuinely stayed to dance and celebrate together. We have spent time dancing with characters like Mickey and even been filmed by the Disneyland Paris team, which captures just how lively the atmosphere can get when the event is in full swing.
From character meet and greets in Pride outfits featuring favourites like Mickey, Minnie, Daisy, Donald, Chip, Dale, Goofy, Pluto, Clarice, and Stitch, to the music, parade moments, and overall celebratory mood, it really does feel like a special occasion rather than a standard park day. Rare character appearances also add to the feeling of a more exclusive event, almost like an annual pass party but open to everyone. Just be aware that character queues can get long, so arriving early makes a real difference if you want to make the most of the experience.
What is Disneyland Paris Pride?
The next Pride celebration at Disneyland Paris will take place on 28th June 2026.
At the time of writing, this date has been confirmed for the 2026 Pride event, although Disneyland Paris has not yet released full official details for the day, including the final entertainment line-up, character appearances, or whether any additional experiences will be added.
Based on recent years, Pride at Disneyland Paris has shifted between formats. Earlier editions ran as separate ticketed after-hours events, while more recent celebrations have been included with standard park admission as a daytime event. The 2026 edition is currently expected to follow the daytime format.
More information, including confirmed meet and greets, entertainment schedules, and any potential surprises for the day, is expected to be released closer to the event date.
What is Disneyland Paris Pride?
Disneyland Paris Pride is a special seasonal celebration held at Disneyland Paris that focuses on diversity, inclusion, and the LGBTQIA+ community, all set within the usual Disney park atmosphere. It brings a different energy to the resort, combining familiar Disney entertainment with themed moments that celebrate love, identity, and togetherness.
In recent years, it has been designed as a daytime celebration included with standard park admission, featuring character meet and greets in Pride-inspired outfits, themed entertainment, and special moments around the park. Guests have been able to meet favourites such as Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Pluto, Chip, Dale, Stitch, and others, often dressed specially for the occasion, which adds a unique twist to the usual character interactions.
From experience, the atmosphere has felt especially lively when there have been larger-scale or after-hours versions of the event, where music, dancing, and extended entertainment created more of a party-like feel. Those editions included more time to explore, more opportunities to dance, and a stronger festival-style atmosphere compared to the more recent, lower-key daytime celebrations.
Disneyland Paris Pride 2026
Disneyland Paris Pride 2026 will take place on 28th June 2026 at Disneyland Paris. At the time of writing, it has been confirmed as a daytime celebration included with standard park admission, rather than a separate after-hours ticketed event.
Based on previous years, the 2026 edition is expected to follow a similar format to recent celebrations, with entertainment and themed moments spread throughout the day rather than a single dedicated evening event.
While full details have not yet been released, Disneyland Paris Pride has previously included a wide range of character meet and greets, often featuring favourites such as Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Pluto, Chip, Dale, and Stitch, alongside a special cast member pre-parade and PRIDE cavalcade.
We will be sharing more details as soon as they are released, including confirmed character appearances, entertainment schedules, and any additional surprises planned for Disneyland Paris Pride 2026.
Disneyland Paris Pride 2025
We knew there was no official after-hours Disneyland Paris Pride event that year, which was disappointing for anyone who had experienced the fuller evening celebrations in the past. However, there was still a dedicated Pride celebration taking place inside the parks on Saturday 29th June 2025, included with standard park admission. It ran as a daytime event open to all guests, so there was still plenty of opportunity to enjoy the atmosphere, even if it was not the same as a separate ticketed night event.
From what we had seen in previous years, the after-hours Pride event offered a much more complete experience, with extended entertainment, a stronger party atmosphere, and more space for guests to stay late, dance, and really celebrate together. That was why many returning visitors were hoping for its return in the future.
This year’s daytime celebration was more low key, but still full of colour, music, and themed moments throughout the park. There was also ongoing anticipation around future developments at Disneyland Paris, including the continued expansion of Walt Disney Studios Park and the upcoming Frozen themed land, which many guests were watching closely as they planned future visits.
Even without the evening event, there was still a sense of occasion in the park on Pride day, and for those who had attended before, it remained a joyful and welcoming atmosphere, just on a smaller scale than the full after-hours experience.
Special Character Appearances
For one day only you’ll get the chance to meet your favourite Disney pals dressed in their exclusive Pride outfits! Catch them striking a pose at the Casey’s Corner Gazebo on Main Street, U.S.A.
Characters appearing include:
- Mickey and Minnie
- Donald and Daisy
- Goofy and Pluto
- Chip ‘n’ Dale
11:00 AM – Pride Pre-Parade
We set our alarms and made sure to grab a spot along the parade route early, because at 11:00 AM, just before Stars on Parade, Disneyland Paris Cast Members took centre stage in a special Pride Pre-Parade.
It was a heartfelt celebration of love, diversity, and community, brought to life with music, movement, and more than a few magical moments. We were the ones waving tissues and cheering like it was our job, because honestly, it kind of was.
Final Thoughts
While this year was missing the glittery after-dark party, Pride at Disneyland Paris still delivered an atmosphere of joy, acceptance, and celebration in the most magical place on Earth. Even in its more low-key daytime format, it still carried moments of colour, music, and togetherness that made Pride day stand out from a standard park visit.
We found that the experience still felt meaningful, especially when you were standing along the parade route or catching small themed touches throughout the park. It was less of a full-scale party compared to the after-hours event we had attended in previous years, but there was still a strong sense of community running through the day.
Guests who came prepared with rainbow outfits, comfortable shoes, and a bit of patience for queues still got the most out of it. The atmosphere rewarded those little bits of planning, especially when it came to securing good parade spots early.
Looking ahead, there is still plenty of anticipation around what future celebrations at Disneyland Paris could look like, especially with major developments on the horizon like the Frozen themed land and wider Walt Disney Studios Park expansion. If anything, it left us hoping that future Pride events might once again return to a bigger, after-hours format.
Even so, Pride at Disneyland Paris remained a bright, welcoming day full of colour, and a reminder of why these celebrations feel so special in the first place.
Is Disneyland Paris Pride a Separate Event? And How Much Are Tickets?
This one has been a bit of a moving target over the years, so here is the lowdown.
Since the official launch of Disneyland Paris Pride in 2019, the celebration has mostly taken the form of a separate ticketed event at Disneyland Paris. These earlier editions were designed as exclusive evening parties, with the park staying open late and a more focused party atmosphere running into the night.
For example, the original Magical Pride in 2019 took place as a private event at Walt Disney Studios Park, with tickets priced at around £107, and an upgraded option offering earlier entry at approximately £132. In 2022, ticket prices were lower at around £89, still requiring separate admission in addition to a regular park ticket or holiday stay.
However, in 2024 the format changed. Instead of a standalone ticketed event, Pride celebrations were included with standard park admission, meaning all guests visiting on the day could take part without purchasing an additional ticket. This made the event more accessible, allowing more visitors to experience the atmosphere, entertainment, and themed moments throughout the day.
For 2025, there has been no official confirmation on whether the event will remain included with park entry or return to a separate ticketed format. Based on recent years and ongoing construction work within the resort, it is expected to follow a similar daytime model, but this has not yet been confirmed.
What’s Included in the Disneyland Paris Pride Event?
If you are wondering what makes Disneyland Paris Pride so special, here is a quick look at what the celebration has typically included. Whether it has taken the form of a separate ticketed party or a full-day celebration at Disneyland Paris, the event has usually brought together a mix of entertainment, themed moments, and exclusive experiences across the resort.
- Late night park access
When it has run as a separate ticketed event, such as in earlier editions, the park has stayed open late into the night, sometimes until the early hours. This has allowed guests to experience popular attractions with shorter waits and a very different atmosphere compared to a standard day visit. Rides like RC Racer and Twilight Zone Tower of Terror have felt especially memorable with the Pride celebration continuing around the park. - Parades and themed entertainment
One of the main highlights has been the Pride parade or celebratory procession, often featuring Disney characters and cast members dressed for the occasion. These moments have brought music, movement, and colour to the park streets, creating a strong sense of celebration as the entertainment moves through the resort. - Live performances
Across previous years, the entertainment line-up has included a mix of music and stage moments, sometimes featuring well known artists alongside DJs and live performers. The focus has been on creating a party atmosphere with a blend of performances and dance-focused events that keep the energy going throughout the celebration. - Character meet and greets
Disney characters have regularly appeared in special Pride-themed outfits, which has been one of the most popular parts of the event. Seeing characters like Mickey, Minnie, Stitch, and others in themed costumes has added a unique twist to familiar meet and greets and has often led to some of the longest queues of the day. - Special merchandise and themed treats
Pride-themed merchandise and limited-edition food items have also featured in previous celebrations. These have included clothing, collectibles, and seasonal treats that give guests something to take home as a reminder of the day. - Additional experiences
Depending on the year and format, there have also been surprise entertainment moments, photo opportunities, and informal dance areas that help extend the celebration beyond the main scheduled activities.
While the exact line-up changes from year to year, Disneyland Paris Pride has consistently combined Disney entertainment with a celebration of identity and inclusion, creating a distinctive atmosphere that feels different from a standard park visit.
Our Pride Party Experiences
Let me tell you, Disneyland Paris Pride is not just another day at the park. It is a full-on celebration where Disney magic meets rainbow energy in the best possible way at Disneyland Paris. We have been lucky enough to attend multiple times, and each year has given us completely different moments, but all of them have stayed with us long after we left the park.
One of our favourite memories has to be meeting Stitch during Pride. He was absolutely full of character as always, and at one point we even ended up being filmed by the Disneyland Paris team during the interaction. Some of those clips made their way online and even into internal Disney content, which honestly made it feel like we had been part of something much bigger than just a standard meet and greet.
We also had a brilliant experience seeing Becky Hill perform live. We had actually spotted her earlier in the day in the park, which made it even more surreal to then see her properly on stage later on. In contrast, during the 2023 celebration, Calum Scott was due to perform but could not take the stage due to technical issues. At the time, it barely mattered because we were already completely caught up in the atmosphere, especially dancing inside Studio 1 with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Clarice, Goofy, and Pluto.
Some of the most memorable moments have actually been the unexpected ones. Stitch painting rainbows, or Disney characters breaking into playful high energy dance moments on the Studio 1 red carpet, are exactly the kind of surprises that make the event feel so alive. It never feels overly scripted, which is part of what makes it special.
If there is one thing we have learned, it is that you really have to choose your priorities. Some people go all in on the live music and dance floor moments, others focus on character meet and greets or the parade. Trying to do everything does not work, so it is better to decide what you want your night to feel like and lean into that.
And if you want to catch the parade, getting there early is essential. It is always one of the highlights, full of energy and colour, and it is often where you will spot some of the rarer character appearances too.
Tips for Attending Disneyland Paris Pride
Planning to join the fun at Disneyland Paris Pride? We’ve got you. After attending multiple celebrations at Disneyland Paris, we have picked up a few things that genuinely make a difference to your day or night, and a few lessons learned the hard way.
- Plan your priorities
There is always more going on than you can realistically fit in. Live music, parades, character meet and greets, and rides all compete for your time. The key is deciding early what matters most to you. If dancing and entertainment is your focus, head straight for the shows and party areas. If character moments are your thing, you will need to line up early. If you want the parade, treat your viewing spot like a priority and get there in good time. - Book tickets early if needed
When Pride has taken the form of a separate ticketed event in previous years, tickets have sold quickly and have always been separate from standard park entry. If that format returns in future, it is worth booking as soon as sales open to avoid missing out. - Dress to celebrate
Pride is one of those days where people really lean into their outfits. Whether that is full rainbow looks or just a subtle nod with accessories, it adds to the atmosphere. Disney fans especially go all in with themed ears, colour coordination, and plenty of glitter. - Arrive early for key moments
This one really matters for parades and character meet and greets. The best viewing spots go quickly, and character queues can build fast. Being early makes a noticeable difference. Cast members are always working hard during these moments, so patience and kindness go a long way. - Stay hydrated and pace yourself
It is a full day of walking, dancing, and standing around waiting for shows or characters. A refillable water bottle helps more than you think, and grabbing snacks when you can keeps energy levels up. It is definitely more of a marathon than a sprint. - Capture the moment, but do not live through your phone
Photos and videos are great, especially when you want to look back later, but some of the best moments we have had were the ones where we just stayed present. Dancing, laughing, and taking it in without worrying about recording everything often makes the experience better. - Be open to surprises
Some of the best parts of Pride have come out of nowhere. Unexpected character interactions, spontaneous dance moments, or little themed touches that were not advertised in advance all add to the atmosphere. Going in with flexibility makes the day feel even more special.
Disneyland Paris Pride Through the Years
Disneyland Paris Pride has grown into a beloved celebration, with each year adding its own sparkle to the story. Here’s a quick trip down memory lane to see how the event has evolved:
2025 – Pride Day in Disneyland Park
Disneyland Paris Pride 2025 took place as a one-day celebration at Disneyland Paris, giving guests the chance to experience a themed Pride moment included with standard park admission.
For one day only, guests were able to meet some of their favourite Disney pals dressed in exclusive Pride outfits. One of the main photo locations was the Casey’s Corner Gazebo on Main Street, U.S.A., where characters regularly stopped to pose and interact with guests throughout the day.
The character line-up included Mickey and Minnie, Donald and Daisy, Goofy and Pluto, and Chip ‘n’ Dale, all appearing in special Pride-themed looks for the occasion. These meet and greets were some of the most popular moments of the day, with queues building quickly as guests tried to get a chance for photos and interactions.
Alongside the character appearances, a special cast cavalcade also took place, bringing additional energy and movement through the park. It added to the overall atmosphere of celebration on Main Street, U.S.A., and helped tie together the day’s themed entertainment moments into a more unified Pride experience.
Overall, Pride 2025 focused on character moments, casual entertainment, and a relaxed but colourful atmosphere that ran throughout the park for the day.
2024 – Pride for All Guests
Due to ongoing works at Walt Disney Studios, Disneyland Paris switched things up for 2024. Instead of a separate ticketed event, Pride celebrations opened up to all guests with a day ticket at Disneyland Park. Highlights included the Rainbow Pre-Parade featuring Cast Members and classic characters in rainbow outfits, special meet-and-greets with Stitch and Mickey & Minnie, plus plenty of photo opportunities. While some moments were mixed (looking at you, selfie spot!), the day still brought a welcome celebration of diversity accessible to everyone.
2023 – Star-Studded Performances
Held on June 17, 2023, the Pride party returned to Walt Disney Studios Park, featuring a fantastic lineup including Calum Scott, Christophe Willem, Bianca Costa, and Jenifer. Even when technical hiccups kept Calum Scott off stage for a bit, the dance party with Mickey, Minnie, and friends kept spirits high. The night was packed with live shows, dancing, and colourful moments that kept everyone smiling until 2 am.
2022 – Pride Returns with a Bang
Disneyland Paris Pride came back strong on June 11, 2022, at Walt Disney Studios Park. This time, it was part of the park’s 30th anniversary celebrations. Highlights included performances by Mika, Bilal Hassani, and Becky Hill, a dazzling new Pride parade with Disney characters and Cast Members dressed in rainbow colours, plus special Pride-themed treats and merchandise. The party went late into the night with attractions open, lip-sync contests, and plenty of chances to dance and celebrate.
2020 and 2021 – Pandemic Pause
Plans were underway for Pride 2020 to take place inside Disneyland Park with live performances and all the festive fun, but COVID-19 had other ideas. Both the 2020 and 2021 events were cancelled, putting a pause on the official celebrations but not the spirit.
2019 – The Magical Beginning
The very first official Disneyland Paris Pride party kicked off on June 1, 2019, at Walt Disney Studios Park. It was a private, ticketed event running from 8 pm to 2 am, featuring a vibrant “Magical March of Diversity Parade,” exclusive character meet-and-greets, DJ sets, live music including Years & Years’ lead singer Olly Alexander and Boy George, plus plenty of themed photo spots. This marked the first time Disneyland Paris hosted an official Pride event, turning years of unofficial celebrations into something truly magical.
Conclusion: Why Disneyland Paris Pride Is a Celebration Worth Experiencing
Disneyland Paris Pride is more than just a party, it is a heartfelt celebration of love, diversity, and inclusion, all brought together in one unforgettable experience at Disneyland Paris. Whether you are a Disney fan, part of the LGBTQIA+ community, or simply someone who enjoys a day filled with music, colour, and atmosphere, Pride at Disneyland Paris offers something genuinely special.
From meeting favourite Disney characters in their Pride-themed outfits to enjoying live entertainment and themed moments across the park, the whole day feels like stepping into a more expressive and welcoming version of the Disney experience. Having attended ourselves, some of the most memorable moments have come from simple interactions, whether that is dancing in the moment with characters like Mickey, Minnie, and friends, or just soaking in the energy of the crowd during parade moments and entertainment spots.
It can feel like a whirlwind at times, with so much happening across the park that it is impossible to see everything. That is part of what makes it enjoyable. Choosing a few highlights and letting the rest unfold naturally often leads to the best experience, whether that is focusing on character meet and greets, catching live performances, or finding a good spot for the parade.
No matter which year you attend or how the event is presented, Disneyland Paris Pride consistently feels like a celebration of togetherness and joy. It is a reminder that the park can be at its most vibrant when it is filled with colour, music, and a shared sense of celebration.
