DISNEY HOTEL CHEYENNE REVIEW
Hotel Cheyenne Review (2026), Disneyland Paris
Updated 21st May 2026
Planning a Disneyland Paris holiday is part of the experience. You plan the attractions, the snacks and even the outfits, but the first big decision is where to stay. This is our full and honest review of Disney Hotel Cheyenne at Disneyland Paris. If you are looking for a budget hotel, this is a good place to start.
Hotel Cheyenne often catches people off guard. It is classed as a budget option, but it offers more than you might expect. Many guests, including us, rate it as one of the better value hotels at Disneyland Paris. It is also one of the strongest themed hotels on site. The Wild West setting feels detailed and playful, with clear nods to Toy Story throughout.
Hotel Cheyenne is one we return to often. We have stayed here more than 10 times, and it remains a reliable choice. The rooms are comfortable, the theming is consistent, and the price point is hard to ignore. It is also around a 10 to 15 minute walk to the parks, which is manageable for most guests.
If you are thinking about booking Hotel Cheyenne for your next trip, this guide covers what you need to know before you decide.
For those in a hurry...
Disney Hotel Cheyenne is one of our favourite and go-to hotels at Disneyland Paris. With great theming, location and a ‘budget’ price it’s a great option when looking for a Disneyland Paris Hotel.
If you are wondering whether Hotel Cheyenne is a good choice, the short answer is yes. It is one of the better budget hotel options at Disneyland Paris, and one we recommend based on repeated stays.
This review comes from plenty of visits and a lot of time spent walking to and from the parks. Hotel Cheyenne has a Toy Story theme that feels fun without being over the top. It works well for families who want a clear Disney feel without paying higher hotel prices, which is why it is often considered one of the best value options on site.
The walk to the parks takes around 10 to 15 minutes. It is flat and easy to follow, and a good way to start the day. If you would rather not walk back after the fireworks, there is also a free shuttle bus running throughout the day.
There are a couple of things to be aware of. Hotel Cheyenne does not have a swimming pool, and the rooms do not include a fridge, so it is worth planning ahead for drinks and snacks.
One of the nicer extras is the character meet and greet. You can usually meet Woody or Jessie at the hotel, which adds a bit of Disney atmosphere before you even enter the parks.
- Immersive Wild West Theming: Experience the charm of the Old West with themed décor, cowboy-inspired accommodations, and frontier ambiance throughout the hotel.
- Proximity to the Parks: Enjoy convenient access to Disneyland Paris parks, with a short 10-15 minute walk or a few minutes free shuttle ride.
- Value for Money: Priced as a budget option, but is still one of our favourite Disneyland Paris Hotels if you don’t want a hotel with a swimming pool!
- Character Encounters: Start your mornings with a touch of magic by meeting Woody or Jessie inside the hotel lobby!
- Family-Friendly Amenities: Take advantage of family-friendly facilities, including outdoor play areas, pony rides, and buffet dining options catering to both adults and children, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable stay for the whole family.
- In-room Amenities: Includes a coffee machine and kettle for beverages, along with a basic low-power hairdryer; however, rooms do not feature an iron or fridge.
From its well-themed ambiance to its fantastic value, it exceeded our expectations the first time we visited and is often our go-to hotel of choice. So, if you’re wondering whether Hotel Cheyenne is worth it, our answer is a resounding yes!
However, there are a few things to keep in mind to ensure a smooth stay. If you’re traveling with lots of luggage, a stroller, little ones, or have mobility concerns, be sure to request a ground-floor room near facilities, trust us, it will be worth it!
Hotel Cheyenne Review (2026)
We were super excited to be staying at Disney Hotel Cheyenne once again, and this is our honest review and guide to help you learn more and know what to expect when you book a stay here. So grab your cowboy boots, as we’ll share the finer details of our stay in our review of Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne.
Our Disney Hotel Cheyenne Check-in
After an early flight into Paris, we took an Uber from Charles de Gaulle Airport straight to the hotel. The journey usually takes around 30 to 40 minutes, depending on traffic. On arrival, security checked our booking confirmation before allowing the Uber through to drop us outside reception.
Inside the lobby, there was a long check-in queue. As we had completed online check-in in advance, available 7 days before arrival through the Disneyland Paris app, we were directed to a much shorter queue to the side. It saved a noticeable amount of time.
The Cast Member who assisted us was friendly and efficient. Check-in was completed quickly, and we were given an envelope with a hotel map and our Magic Passes. The Magic Pass acts as your room key, park ticket and covers any pre-booked meal plans or dining reservations.
Disneyland Paris states that rooms are available from 3pm. On this visit, our room was ready straight away, which is not always the case. The Cast Member marked our building on the map, and we headed to the room to get settled before going to the parks.
If your room is not ready on arrival, there is a free luggage storage service available. This is useful if you arrive early and want to head straight to the parks without carrying bags. It is also handy on your departure day if you have time left before heading home.
Cheyenne at Christmas
We arrived during the Christmas season, and Hotel Cheyenne fully embraced the festive atmosphere. Before heading to our room, we spent some time in the lobby taking in the decorations. It was a nice pause before the parks and set the tone for the rest of the trip.
The lobby featured Toy Story themed Christmas trees, which suited the hotel well. Decorations included Sheriff badge ornaments, a clear nod to Woody and the Wild West theme. They felt playful without being overdone and added a subtle Disney touch to a classic Christmas setup.
Above the fireplace, festive wreaths brought everything together. The mix of soft lighting, cosy surroundings and small themed details made the space feel warm and inviting. It is the kind of setting where you naturally slow down for a moment before heading back into the parks.
Disney Hotel Cheyenne Character Meet & Greets
When entering the hotel reception, one of the first things we noticed was the character sign showing the meet and greet times. Character meets are one of the highlights of staying at a Disney hotel.
At Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne, you can meet Woody or Jessie each morning from 8:15am to 11am. This gives you a bit of flexibility. You can meet them before heading into the parks, or make the most of Extra Magic Time first and return to the hotel afterwards. We often found that queues were shorter later in the morning.
The meet and greets take place near the entrance to the Red Garter Saloon, which works well as a themed backdrop. On some mornings, Woody and Jessie alternated, while on others it was just one character.
Disney photographers are also on hand, so you can have photos taken without needing to rely on your phone.
It is also worth knowing that the character meet and greet at Hotel Cheyenne is open to all guests, not just those staying at the hotel.
Disney Hotel Cheyenne Location
Unlike Disney hotels at other parks around the world, all Disneyland Paris hotels are relatively close to the parks.
Disney Hotel Cheyenne sits along the Rio Grande River, opposite Hotel Santa Fe, and is around a 10 to 15 minute walk from the parks. While it is one of the further hotels if you are walking, it is actually one of the closest when using the free shuttle bus.
The walk itself is straightforward and easy to follow. A steady 10 minute walk along the river brings you to Disney Village, and from there it is a short continuation to the park entrances. It is a pleasant route, especially in the morning, passing along the water and around Lake Disney.
After a full day in the parks, we did not always feel like walking back, so we often used the free shuttle bus instead. Because the hotel is close by road and has its own dedicated service, buses run frequently. We found one arrived roughly every 5 to 10 minutes, so the wait was never too long.
Disney Hotel Cheyenne Rooms
Let’s mosey on over to check out the digs at Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne! Before we talk about our room and experience we wanted to share with you that Disney Hotel Cheyenne offers three room types to choose from.
- First up, we’ve got the Woody’s Roundup Standard Room. This room type offers 2 double beds or 1 double bed and 1 pull-out bed, providing ample space for couples or families.
- For those looking to be closer to the action, the Woody’s Roundup Standard Room near hotel facilities are the way to go. Located in blocks closest to the hotel reception and restaurants, these rooms boast either 2 double beds or 1 double bed and 1 pull-out bed.
- The hotel also offers Woody’s Roundup River Side rooms located along the river/walking path side of the hotel. These rooms are located further away from reception, but are closer for those wanting to walk to the park! This room type offers 2 double beds or 1 double bed and 1 pull-out bed.
Our Room at Disney Hotel Cheyenne
Now, let’s talk about our room! On our recent trip, we chose a standard room, and the Cast Member at Check-In showed us the location of our room on the hotel map.
We were located in Block 19 “Billy the Kid”. The theming of this hotel is great, as each building is named after popular wild west icons or terms, and each hotel block facade resembles its name!
Key Points to Remember:
- Air conditioned rooms
- Coffee machine and kettle
- Hairdryer (basic) fixed to the bathroom wall
- No iron, No fridge,
Despite being labeled as a “budget or value” hotel, Disney Hotel Cheyenne always exceeds our expectations, and the rooms always seem very spacious.
Our room at the Hotel Cheyenne had subtle hints of the Disney/PIXAR film Toy Story, specifically Woody’s Round-up, hence the room names. The wallpaper borders around the room feature Woody, Jessie, and their pals, whilst the themed mirrors, cow print throw, and the curtains echoing Woody’s iconic shirt, ensure every inch of these rooms is bursting with subtle hints of the film.
One of our favourite themed parts of the room was the themed cowboy boot lamp.
The beds were comfortable and our room also featured a pull out sofa bed. With comfy beds, multiple outlets, and reliable air conditioning (no complaints here!), we really enjoy the rooms at the hotel, even though we don’t spend much time inside the
In-room amenities…
When it comes to in-room amenities, our room was equipped with a fully stocked coffee pod machine and kettle. However, our room didn’t feature a fridge or an iron.
Additionally, towels and toiletries are included within the bathroom. It was nice to see that instead of single-use plastic items, the hotel now had reusable containers for shower gel, shampoo and conditioner.
A hairdryer is also attached to the wall in the bathroom, however, it is very basic and low-powered meaning it’s not the best.
Plug Options inside the rooms at Hotel Cheyenne
One of the first things we check when entering a hotel room is the plug setup. Between phones, cameras and battery packs, everything needs charging after a full day in the parks. Hotel Cheyenne handles this well.
Under the television, there are two EU plug sockets, one UK plug socket and two USB ports. This makes it easy to charge several devices at once and avoids the usual scramble for plugs. It also means you do not need to bring as many adapters if you are travelling from the UK.
There are additional EU sockets next to the bed, which are useful for charging your phone overnight while keeping it within reach. It is a small detail, but it makes mornings easier.
You will also find extra EU sockets on the sideboard. Overall, there are more than enough charging points in the room, which is especially helpful if you are travelling as a family or using multiple devices throughout the day.
Disney Hotel Cheyenne Restaurants
As we explored the dining options at Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne, we were pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of experiences available.
- Chuck Wagon Cafe
- Red Garter Saloon
- Starbucks
The Chuck Wagon Cafe offers buffet-style meals for breakfast and dinner. As we visited during the summer months, we enjoyed a buffet dinner and took advantage of the additional BBQ outside. We were told the additional BBQ is not always available but it was a great addition to the options available!
The buffet at Chuck Wagon was only €40 per adult and €22 per child, making it one of the cheapest buffets at Disneyland Paris.
As part of our meal plan, we had access to the hotel breakfast. This was also held within the Chuck Wagon Cafe, which was a delightful surprise as we don’t often eat breakfast at the hotels.
At the buffet, all-you-can-eat breakfast had a wide selection of choices including continental and ‘full English’ options. We particularly enjoyed the wide range of pastries, cereals, cold meats, and cheeses!
Whilst enjoying breakfast, it was clear that the breakfast options were the same as we had at Sequoia Lodge, and also at Plaza Gardens characters breakfast.
The Red Garter Saloon quickly became one of our favorite spots. This saloon-style bar offered a familiar drinks menu with a few unique offerings.
In the evenings, we often found ourselves saddling up at the bar having a drink at the end of the day. This is not a metaphor, at the Saloon you can sit on saddles at the bar!
The atmosphere at the Red Garter Saloon is relaxing, making it the perfect spot to relax after a busy day in the parks. It’s a cozy setting where we often drifted away to the sounds of country music and truly relax into the Wild West charm of Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne.
On our last evening, we sat outside the Saloon enjoying a cocktail. IT was a great location to sit and relax and people watch!
One highlight for us was the presence of Starbucks, which was great location to grab some snacks and often saw many guests getting morning muffins for a cheap breakfast.
We’ve seen people complain about Starbucks within Disney hotels, but we don’t feel the same. The popular coffee shop is well-themed and fits seamlessly into the surroundings and acts at the Wild West Bank.
