SAVE MORE: February School Holiday £99pp deal!

The February half term is one of the cheapest times to visit during the school holidays. Unlike the peak summer months, February tends to be less crowded, mainly because many families in France and across Europe prefer to hit the ski slopes rather than the Disney parks. This means you’ll find lower prices on hotels and packages, along with shorter lines for your favorite attractions.

While the weather in February can be cold, the upside is that you can experience more of the park in less time, making it easier to squeeze in all the must-see shows, parades, and rides. If you’re traveling with young children, the earlier sunsets mean that nighttime fireworks show over Sleeping Beauty Castle start earlier, so your little ones can enjoy the fireworks without staying up too late.

Alternatively Choose the May School Holidays

If you’re looking for a balance between pleasant weather and manageable crowds, the May school holidays are a fantastic option. While it’s a school holiday period in the UK and other parts of Europe, it’s not a major holiday in France, which means the parks are less crowded than during the summer.

May is a lovely time to visit as spring turns into summer, bringing warmer weather and blooming flowers to the park. You’ll also benefit from extended park hours, often until 10 PM or even 11 PM, giving you plenty of time to enjoy all the attractions, shows, and parades at a leisurely pace.

By choosing these off-peak school holiday periods, you can enjoy a magical Disney experience without the high costs and large crowds that often come with other holidays.

Halloween Season: Cheapest Time to Visit

Halloween at Disneyland Paris is a spook-tacular time filled with unique decorations, special events, and the chance to see your favorite Disney characters in their Halloween costumes. If you’re dreaming of experiencing the Halloween magic without spending a fortune, timing is key.

Mid-October: The Best Time for Budget-Friendly Spooks
Halloween season at Disneyland Paris runs from October 1st to November 3rd, 2024, offering plenty of opportunities to join in the fun. However, if you’re looking to get the most bang for your buck, the middle of October is typically the best time to visit. During this period, you’ll find that prices are generally lower than at the beginning of the Halloween season, when excitement is high, and toward the end, as it approaches the Halloween night festivities.

By visiting in mid-October, you’ll not only save money on hotel and package deals, but you’ll also enjoy the park with slightly fewer crowds compared to the peak Halloween dates. This means shorter lines for rides, easier access to parades, and a more relaxed experience overall.

Why Mid-October is a Sweet Spot
One of the reasons mid-October is cheaper is that it falls between the initial rush of visitors eager to kick off the Halloween season and the surge of guests coming in for the final spooky celebrations around Halloween night. This lull in attendance makes it an ideal time for budget-conscious visitors who still want to soak in all the Halloween thrills Disneyland Paris has to offer.

In addition to the cost savings, the weather in mid-October is usually mild, making it comfortable to enjoy both day and nighttime activities.

So, if you’re planning a Halloween visit to Disneyland Paris in 2025 and want to do it on a budget, mark your calendar for mid-October. It’s the perfect time to enjoy all the spooky fun without the premium price tag.

Disneyland Paris Package FAQ's

When is the cheapest time to go to Disneyland Paris?

Disneyland Paris is full of magic all year long, with amazing rides, shows, and parades happening every day. But if you want to make the most of your visit, here are some tips!

If you prefer shorter lines and fewer crowds, and CHEAPER prices, try to visit mid-week (like Tuesday to Thursday) between mid-January and mid-March, from mid-April to mid-May, or throughout November, but be sure to check for French national holidays!

As a general rule, you’ve probably read and heard that January is a fantastic time to visit Disneyland Paris, especially if you’re looking for the cheapest prices. Yes this is true, and yes it’s going to be chilly, but the good news is that the park will be much quieter, meaning you can enjoy more rides and attractions with shorter lines.

January is also a great time to visit if you have younger kids. The nighttime show, starts earlier around 8 pm, so you won’t have to keep the little ones awake late into the night like you would in the summer when the park is open until 11 pm..

Another budget-friendly time to visit is during November. Depending on when you book your trip you can catch the end of the spooky Halloween season, or the start of the Christmas season, all while paying a lower price.

On the other hand, if you want to experience Disneyland Paris when the parks stay open longer allowing you to get more time in the park, and much better value for your money, plan your trip for weekdays through May and September.

How many days do I need at Disneyland Paris?

Do you want to visit for just a single day or multiple days? You can buy Disneyland Paris tickets for 1 to 4 days, and if you choose a ticket for 2 days or more, it automatically allows you visit both Disney Parks on the same day, also known as a ‘Park Hopper’ ticket. This means you can “hop” between Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park as often as you like, giving you more flexibility and fun during your visit!

The Disneyland Paris website suggests that three days is the best amount of time to explore the parks and here’s why:

  • Two Days for Disneyland Park: This park has five amazing themed areas, so having two days lets you watch the shows, ride attractions, watch the parades, night-time fireworks and drone shows.

  • One Day for Walt Disney Studios Park: This park is undergoing a major expansion at the moment, however, there is still a lot to see with 5 amazing shows and fantastic attractions such as Crush’s Coaster and Tower of Terror, with planning you can usually see everything you want within a day.

If you want a more relaxed experience we would recommend 4 days, as this gives you time to re-watch the awesome shows and parades, ride attractions again and not feel like you’ve rushed around the parks.
