What is the cheapest way to stay at Disneyland Paris?
The cheapest way to stay at Disneyland Paris is usually to book Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe or Hotel Cheyenne during off-season dates as part of a package that includes park tickets, but always check Sequoia Lodge too, as this hotel is seeing some huge discounts at the moment!
If you do not need tickets, and your a Passholder like us, local hotels in Val d’Europe such as Adagio and B&B can cost less than half the price and are only one train stop from the park or £10 in an uber!
BOOK EARLY = lowest prices
Yes, you can stay in a Disney hotel without breaking the bank — even the fancy ones.
Staying onsite at Disneyland Paris is a dream. You’re right in the middle of the magic, you get early park access (hello, Extra Magic Time), and your park tickets are bundled into your hotel stay. But here’s the plot twist: it doesn’t have to cost a fortune — even at the premium hotels.
We’ve stayed in all seven Disney hotels (yes, even the swanky ones), and we’ve learned one very valuable thing: booking early matters more than your budget. With the right timing, even premium hotels can become surprisingly affordable.
How Disney Hotel Pricing Works
Disneyland Paris uses an availability-based pricing model, meaning prices rise as availability drops. The earlier you book, the better your chances of snagging a deal. And we’re not talking a few pounds off — we’ve seen prices swing by hundreds depending on the date.
We always use the DLP Price Estimator to spot the cheapest dates. It’s simple, colour-coded, and makes it way easier to plan around your budget. It’s also how we’ve scored Sequoia Lodge cheaper than Santa Fe (more than once!).
And always, always book direct with Disneyland Paris. Why?
- Free changes or cancellations up to 7 days before arrival
- Price match guarantee
- Access to exclusive offers and flash sales (some of the best deals we’ve ever booked came from these)
Disneyland Paris Hotels: From Budget to Premium
No matter your budget, there are deals to be found at every level. Here’s our breakdown, from the cheapest stays to the splurge-worthy options:
Budget Hotels
If you just want to stay onsite and save, these hotels are consistently the most affordable:
- Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe – Inspired by Cars, it’s simple but cheerful. Prices can drop as low as £83 per person per night in September.
- Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne – A Toy Story-style Wild West town, one of our favourites for families. Expect prices from £84 to £114, with the best deals in January and September.
- Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch – Self-catering cabins a short drive from the parks, ideal for groups or families. Prices start from around £81 per night for the whole cabin.
Mid-Range Hotels
These offer extra comfort and theming, but can still be affordable if you time your visit right:
- Disney’s Sequoia Lodge – Rustic and cosy, perfect in winter. Midweek stays in off-peak months can cost between £91 and £96 per person per night.
- Disney’s Newport Bay Club – Lakeside elegance with a nautical theme. In January and September, rooms can be booked for around £96–£102 per person per night.
Premium Hotels
These are the showstoppers. Yes, they are pricier, but occasional off-peak deals make them tempting if you want something special:
- Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel – A must for Marvel fans, recently refurbished with stunning design. We’ve spotted rooms from £125 per person per night in September and £129 in January.
- Disneyland Hotel – The crown jewel, located right above the entrance gates. Newly reopened after a royal makeover, prices usually start from £190–£213 per person per night in off-peak seasons. Occasionally, flash deals dip below £200, making it great value considering it includes tickets, breakfast, and unbeatable location.
Cheap Disneyland Paris Hotels
When it comes to staying onsite at Disneyland Paris without spending a fortune, you have some great options across the budget, mid-range, and premium hotels. We’ve stayed in them all, and here’s what you need to know.
Surprising Disney Deals We’ve Found
We love sharing secrets, so here’s a tip: sometimes the mid-range hotels like Sequoia Lodge or Newport Bay Club are actually cheaper than budget hotels like Santa Fe or Cheyenne on certain dates.
How do we find these? Two words: Price Estimator. This handy tool colour-codes dates by price, so you can spot the cheapest midweek deals (Tues-Thurs are gold) and book early to lock in those savings.
Benefits of Staying On-Site
Staying at a Disneyland Paris hotel isn’t just about convenience — there are perks that can make your trip smoother and more magical. Here’s what you get when you stay onsite:
- Early access to the parks: Some hotels offer Extra Magic Hours, letting you enjoy certain rides before the crowds arrive.
- Immersive theming: Each hotel is carefully designed to continue the Disney magic, from Toy Story Wild West towns to Marvel-inspired suites.
- Proximity: Most hotels are either steps from the park gates or a short shuttle away, saving time and energy for the fun stuff.
- Easy logistics: No need to worry about parking, public transport, or dragging luggage long distances.
- Package perks: Some onsite stays include breakfast, park tickets, or discounted add-ons, which can add real value.
When Staying On-Site Might Not Be Worth It
Onsite hotels aren’t always the cheapest or most convenient for every trip. Consider staying offsite if:
- You’re on a tight budget and just need a place to sleep.
- You’re driving or have a car, which makes local hotels just as easy to reach.
- You want more spacious rooms or apartment-style accommodation that Disney doesn’t offer.
Should Annual Passholders stay on-site?
Usually, we would say no — Annual Passholders often don’t need the perks that come with staying onsite. However, there are two big reasons why it might actually make sense:
- Guaranteed park access – Annual Passes sometimes require booking one of three available dates to enter the parks. Staying onsite removes that stress. If your trip is longer or falls during peak periods, you can walk straight in without worrying about date limits.
- Room-only deals – Occasionally, Disney releases room-only offers that make onsite stays more affordable. These deals can be a great way to snag a Disney hotel without paying for the full package. Check out our room-only deals guide to see what’s currently available.
For most Annual Passholders, offsite stays still make the most sense for budget and flexibility. But if either of these points is a priority for your trip, staying onsite could be worth it.

How We Found the Cheapest Way to Stay at Disneyland Paris
A bit of backstory — and the tools we swear by
When we first started planning trips to Disneyland Paris, we assumed staying onsite was a once-in-a-while luxury. Like many people, we thought you’d have to fork out a small fortune to sleep under that Disney magic. But over time (and with a fair bit of obsessive deal-hunting), we cracked the code — and now, we rarely pay more than £100 per person per night for a Disney hotel, and the best part of this, your park tickets are included!
The real game-changer? The Disneyland Paris Price Estimator. Honestly, it should come with a superhero cape. It lets you scan entire months at a time, colour-coding dates by price. This means we can quickly spot the cheapest times to stay, even at mid-range or premium hotels. Yes, we’ve stayed at Newport Bay for less than Santa Fe, and even nabbed Sequoia Lodge cheaper than Cheyenne.
We also learnt that Disney’s pricing model is all about availability. So the more rooms available, the cheaper the rate. That’s why we always recommend booking early — especially if you’re eyeing school holidays or want a particular hotel.
And here’s another little tip we live by: never rule out the pricier hotels. You’d be surprised how often Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel sneaks into the £125–£140 range on quiet dates. It’s how we managed a spontaneous Marvel-themed stay one freezing January, and honestly? Worth every penny.
We’re constantly checking prices, scanning for new offers, and comparing dates — and yes, we share the best of them. If you haven’t already, make sure you’re signed up to our free email list. We’ll send you updates whenever Disneyland Paris drops a juicy new deal (and trust us, they do).
Because let’s be honest — nothing feels better than unlocking a magical Disney stay for less than the price of a decent UK hotel room and a Pret breakfast.
