Disneyland Hotel Access Restrictions Return
As of today, the Disneyland Hotel has introduced access restrictions again, limiting entry to guests staying at the hotel or those with a valid booking or dining reservation.
If you have followed our vlogs, you will know we often enjoy ending our evenings there, usually with a quiet drink in the bar or a moment in the lobby. It is a calm way to wind down after a day in the parks, so it is disappointing not to be able to do that on an upcoming visit, unless the situation changes again.
With the Christmas season approaching, it is especially frustrating timing, as many guests were hoping to see the festive decorations and the new Keeper of the Light show. At the moment, there are no confirmed details on how these changes will affect access or experiences, so it is still unclear what the full impact will be.
Who Can Enter the Disneyland Hotel
Access to the Disneyland Hotel, at Disneyland Paris, is currently restricted to:
- Guests staying at the Disneyland Hotel
- Guests with a dining reservation
- Guests who have booked My Royal Dream
If you’re planning to visit Disneyland Paris soon, this means you won’t be able to freely explore the hotel’s lobby, shops, or bars unless you fall into one of those categories.
What’s Still Open and Available to Book
Here’s the good news, all existing bookings remain valid. Guests can still make reservations for:
- My Royal Dream
- The Royal Banquet
- La Table de Lumière
So, if you’ve been dreaming of a royal dining experience or a fairytale makeover, you can still make it happen. Just make sure to book ahead and plan your visit accordingly.

As of today, Disneyland Paris hasn’t shared an end date for these restrictions, and we’ll be keeping a close eye on how things develop, especially as the festive season unfolds. Like many of you, we’re eager to see how the Christmas décor and Keeper of the Light show will come together once the celebrations begin.

Official Disneyland Update regarding access to the Disneyland Hotel
1.1. Access Control: For safety reasons and to preserve the quality of the experience for hotel guests, access to the Disneyland Hotel is strictly reserved to:
- Guests staying at the hotel;
- Individuals with a confirmed reservation for a specific service (restaurants, Spa, “My Royal Dream,” seminar room, etc.).
We also reserve the right to limit access to our other hotels at our discretion for health and/or safety reasons. Use of the hotel restrooms is strictly reserved for guests of our hotels.
