In this guide, we’ll walk you through where to find each Christmas character in Disneyland Paris, share a few tips on timing and queues, and help you make the most of your meet-and-greet moments. Because let’s be honest, there’s no better souvenir than a photo with your favourite character in a Santa hat.
Virtual Queue Characters
- Meet Santa Claus
- Meet Jack Skellington (Sandy Claws)
- Meet Mickey at Phantom Manor
- Princess Pavilion
- Meet Olaf
- Spider Man
- Super Hero Herioic Encounter
This Christmas, Disneyland Paris is bursting with festive character encounters that bring the season to life. You can meet Santa Claus, say hi to Jack Skellington as Sandy Claws, and even find Mickey greeting guests over at Phantom Manor. The Princess Pavilion is as enchanting as ever, and over at Walt Disney Studios Park, you’ll spot Olaf, Spider-Man, and a few other heroic faces ready to strike a pose.
One thing guests will enjoy is that Belle in her winter dress is not on the Virtual Queue, but on the downside this may mean they are long queues to meet her!
Most of these magical moments now use the virtual queue system, so a little planning goes a long way. Here’s what you need to know:
- You can join a virtual queue when it opens at 9:45am and 2:00pm (check the Disneyland Paris app in case times change).
- You can only join one character location per day.
- Once you’ve met your first character, you can join a new virtual queue for another.
A quick tip, have your app open and ready to go a few minutes before the queues open. They fill up faster than Main Street lights up at dusk! It’s a little game of timing and luck. We show our top tips in our vlog here
Main Street, U.S.A
- Winnie the Pooh, Boarding House
- Stitch (until 25 December), Casey Corner Gazebo
- Tigger or Friends (from 26 December), Casey Corner Gazebo
- Mrs Claus, Town Square Gazebo
If there’s one place that captures the spirit of Christmas at Disneyland Paris, it’s Main Street U.S.A. It’s the first land most guests walk into, and it’s often where the first character sightings of the day happen. The festive meet and greets here are a highlight, but queues can build quickly, so timing your visit helps.
Stitch is part of the holiday line-up, greeting guests until Christmas Day before moving over to Arcade Beta. After that, from Boxing Day, Tigger or one of his friends usually takes his place, adding a bit of post Christmas energy to Main Street.
Winnie the Pooh also appears during the season, often with a festive touch, offering a calm contrast to the busier character spots along Main Street.
A new addition this year is Mrs Claus, who appears at the Town Square gazebo. It is her first time meeting guests at Disneyland Paris, and she has quickly become one of the more popular seasonal encounters. As a result, it is worth arriving early if you want to see her without a long wait.
Fantasyland
- Chip and Dale, Labyrinth
- Belle (in her winter dress), Castle Courtyard
- Alice & Mad Hatter
- Princess Pavilion
Fantasyland at Christmas feels like stepping into a storybook, and the character meet and greets add to that atmosphere. It is a popular area for festive photos, so it often rewards a bit of extra time if you want to enjoy it properly.
Chip and Dale are a consistent highlight here, often appearing with a backdrop featuring a large heart. The setting works well for photos, and their playful style fits the Christmas season in a natural way.
Belle meets guests in the Castle Courtyard this year. While there is no confirmed virtual queue, demand is expected to be high, so queues may build quickly. Visiting early in the day is the most reliable way to avoid a long wait.
Alice and Mad Hatter also appear in Fantasyland, bringing a more chaotic, light-hearted energy to the area. Their interactions tend to be unpredictable, which adds to the charm of meeting them during the festive season.
Frontierland
- Santa Jack Skellington (Sandy Claws)
- Santa Goofy, Big Thunder Gazebo
- Phantom Mickey, Phantom Manor Gazebo
Frontierland takes on a festive feel at Christmas and becomes one of the more engaging areas for character meet and greets. The setting adds a seasonal backdrop that works well with the themed appearances.
Jack Skellington appears as Sandy Claws and is expected to remain on a virtual queue due to high demand. He is likely to be one of the most popular characters of the season, so planning ahead will be important if you want to meet him.
Goofy appears as Santa Goofy and his meet and greet tends to be unpredictable. He often adds playful interactions that vary from guest to guest, which makes each encounter feel different.
Mickey Mouse also appears as Phantom Mickey at the Phantom Manor Gazebo. This seasonal version brings a light twist to the Frontierland setting and fits naturally with the atmosphere of the area.
The rustic, snow-dusted look of Frontierland provides a strong backdrop for these encounters. The mix of themed characters and winter scenery gives the area a distinct seasonal feel without changing its core Wild West setting.
Adventureland
- Genie
- Timon
- Baloo
- Peter Pan & Wendy
- Captain Jack Sparrow
- Pluto
Adventureland might not have many characters in festive outfits, but it still delivers plenty of variety during Christmas meet and greets.
Jack Sparrow is often one of the main highlights. He is known for his mischievous interactions and sticking firmly to the pirate code, so it is best to address him as Captain. Encounters can vary, with moments of improvisation that make each meeting feel different.
Genie, Baloo and Timon bring a lot of humour and energy to the area. Baloo is especially known for his enthusiastic hugs, which often make his meet and greets a popular stop.
Peter Pan and Wendy Darling add a more classic storybook feel, keeping the sense of adventure that suits the land.
Adventureland’s mix of jungle theming and pirate settings gives these encounters a varied backdrop. Even without a strong festive overlay, the character interactions carry the experience and make each visit feel a little unpredictable.
Discoveryland
- Darth Vader
- The Mandalorian
- Rey (from 16 November)
- Chewbacca (from 16 November)
- Santa Claus (until 25 December)
- Stitch (from 26 December)
Discoveryland at Christmas brings together Star Wars characters with a seasonal twist.
Rey and Chewbacca appear via the Starport Virtual Queue. Their return is especially notable for guests who last saw them at the Travel Circus event, making these encounters a welcome addition to the seasonal line-up.
Darth Vader and The Mandalorian also feature in Discoveryland, offering strong themed encounters that work well for photos and brief interactions. The Star Wars setting naturally suits this part of the park, even with the Christmas overlay.
Over in Arcade Beta, Santa Claus appears until Christmas Eve, adding a traditional festive presence to the area. After Christmas Day, Stitch moves into Arcade Beta, bringing a more playful energy to the post Christmas period.
This mix of Star Wars characters and seasonal appearances makes Discoveryland and Arcade Beta a varied stop for character meet and greets during the festive season.
Walt Disney Studios Park
- Olaf – virtual queue, with Disney Photopass photographer (ends 26th November)
- Jessie – Worlds of Pixar, with Disney Photopass photographer
- Woody – Worlds of Pixar, with Disney Photopass photographer

- Spider-Man – HTC, virtual queue, with Disney Photopass photographer
Walt Disney Studios Park brings a mix of animation magic and superhero thrills to Halloween 2025, offering guests encounters that range from playful to action-packed.
Fans of Frozen can meet Olaf via virtual queue, capturing every joyful pose with the help of a Disney Photopass photographer. Western charm comes alive with Jessie and Woody, each ready to strike a pose for memorable photos. Of course, whilst Meet Mickey is closed, he is now meeting inside Studio D in his classic outfit.
For action and adventure, the Hero Training experience and Spider-Man meet-ups (both via virtual queue with Photopass) add a thrilling, interactive element to the day. These encounters are perfect for families, superhero fans, and anyone looking to blend festive Halloween fun with cinematic excitement.
