If you’re a Disneyland Pass holder, March is about to get a whole lot more magical. The Preview Days at Disney Adventure World, including the brand-new World of Frozen, are your chance to step into the park before the crowds, and we really hope you managed to get your reservation!
We know you’ll have questions, and we’ve got answers. Want to know if the much-talked-about new Princess restaurant (Regal View) is open? Curious about how many times you can ride Frozen Ever After? Wondering about special areas for Disney Cascade of Lights? Don’t worry, we’ll cover all of that and more, so you can plan your day like a pro.

Preview Day Dates in March
A quick recap of those preview dates. The Disneyland Pass Preview Days for Disney Adventure World are happening on the following dates:
- 15th March – Gold Passholders only.
- 18th March – Open to all Passholders.
- 23rd March – Open to all Passholders.
- 24th March – Open to all Passholders.
- 25th March – Open to all Passholders.
All reservations are now full, but it’s always worth checking for cancellations, even though they’re unlikely.
Which Characters can you meet during the Previews?
Meeting your favourite Disney characters is one of the highlights of any Disneyland Pass Preview Day. During the previews at Disney Adventure World, you’ll have the chance to meet the stars of Arendelle and more, all while Disney PhotoPass photographers capture the magic so you don’t have to worry about missing a single moment.
Royal Encounter With Anna and Elsa
From 2pm to 10:45pm, you can meet Anna and Elsa at the Royal Encounter. Be prepared for queues, they will be popular throughout the day. The good news, the lines stay open for the entire preview, so you can enjoy attractions and shows first, then come back for your royal moment. If we’re honest, meeting them will be the first thing we do!
Meet Mickey Mouse
Meet and greet times for Mickey will be available on the day, so keep an eye on the schedule when you arrive, and we cant wait to meet him in his brand new outfit! As with the Royal Encounter, Disney photographers will be there to capture your magical moments, so you can focus on your happiest Mickey face rather than fumbling with your camera.
Whether you’re a long-time character fan or just love seeing the magic up close, these meet and greets are a can’t-miss part of your preview day experience.
Shows and Entertainment
Disney Adventure World comes alive during Preview Days with a full line-up of shows and performances. Showtimes are available on site, so be sure to check the schedule when you arrive to plan your day around your favourites.
A Celebration in Arendelle
Step into the magic of Arendelle with this enchanting show. Showtimes will be listed on site, giving you flexibility to enjoy other attractions first and return for the performance.
Musical Moment With Rapunzel and Flynn
This fan-favourite show is returning after its huge success during the Disney Music Festival. Last time, it was hard to get a good spot to see this show in Fantasyland, so we’re hoping this preview gives Rapunzel and Flynn plenty of space to shine. Showtimes will also be available on site.
Disney Marching Band
Keep your eyes and ears open for the Disney Marching Band, which will parade through one of two set routes. This was previously confirmed to be Minnie’s Marching Band, but the program just calls it Disney Marching Band. Check the map carefully for the dotted lines so you don’t miss them, it’s a lively, moving celebration you won’t want to miss.
With these shows and performances, there’s always something magical happening around every corner.
Disney Cascade of Lights
The Disney Cascade of Lights is the grand finale of your Preview Day, taking place at 22:40. This brand-new show is already attracting a lot of attention, so we recommend arriving early to secure a good viewing spot.
Guests with disabilities will find a priority viewing area, clearly marked with a star on the map. Make sure to check the map when you arrive so everyone can enjoy the show comfortably.
With the lights, music, and magic, Disney Cascade of Lights promises to be a memorable way to close your exclusive preview day.
Attractions Open During Preview Days
Frozen Ever After
Frozen Ever After is one of the star attractions during the Preview Days. Guests can ride once only, and you will need to collect a ticket at the area entrance to secure your ride. Don’t worry, the experience is just like other Disney parks, and all the songs will be in English. Disney PhotoPass photographers are available on the attraction, so you can capture your magical moment with Anna, Elsa, and friends.
Rapunzel Tangled Spin
Rapunzel Tangled Spin is a spinning ride themed around Rapunzel’s world. It has no ride restrictions, so you can hop on as many times as you like. Think of it like the classic teacups, but with a Rapunzel twist, fun for all ages.
Food and Drink Options During Preview Days
The Regal View Princess Dining Experience
The much-talked-about Regal View Restaurant will be open during the Preview Days. This has been a big question for Passholders, and now it’s official. The restaurant is open from 2pm to 10:15pm, but guests must have a reservation to dine here, so make sure yours is secured in advance.
Other Restaurants and Snack Locations
Several other dining options will also be available during the previews, offering a variety of food and drink throughout the park:

- Cafe Luminosity
- La Terrasse Panoramique
- Chez Marie
- Chez Berlois

Shops Open During Preview Days
For Frozen fans, the Preview Days are the perfect opportunity to pick up exclusive merchandise and souvenirs. Several shops in Disney Adventure World will be open during the event:
Arendelle Boutique – open from 2pm to 11pm. A must-visit for Frozen fans looking for character merchandise and magical keepsakes.
Fjord View Shop – open from 2pm to 11pm. Another great spot for Frozen-themed items and gifts.
Kiosques – open from 2pm to 10pm. Perfect for quick souvenirs or treats on the go.

We are visiting DLP and Adventure World from the US. We just happened to schedule our trip during the pass holder preview days. Obviously, we are not pass holders. How will this impact our visit, specifically to Adventure World? Will we still be able to enjoy the rest of the park? It is important to note that we are staying on Disney property. Thank you!!
Hi, this wont affect your day in either of the parks as the preview areas will be behind hoarding. If anything you find find it a little quieter around the park as most passholders are in the preview area.
