Disneyland Paris Halloween Character & Villain Guide 2026
Halloween at Disneyland Paris brings familiar characters in their Halloween costumes and Disney Villains out into the park, but meeting everyone takes a little planning. Some characters have a set meeting spot, others roam through Fantasyland, and Jack Skellington and Sally use a virtual queue.
We’ve met the Halloween characters across the park, from Vampire Stitch during Extra Magic Time to the returning Dr Facilier in Frontierland. In this 2026 guide, we’ll show you who to look for in each land, which meets we’d prioritise, and how to plan your day without spending it chasing characters from one side of the park to the other.
Mickey & Minnie Welcome
Look up at Main Street Station when you arrive: Mickey and Minnie will be waving to guests in their brand new Halloween outfits. It’s a fun way to start the day and a chance to see both characters without joining a queue.
Mickey also returns to Main Street Station for a goodnight wave after the park closes. These are appearances rather than character meets, so you can watch and take photos from below, but you won’t be able to pose with Mickey or Minnie.
Disneyland Paris Halloween characters by land
If meeting characters is a priority, it helps to know which part of the park to explore. Here’s where to look for the 2026 Halloween characters, grouped by land. Character appearances can change, so check the Disneyland Paris app when you visit.
Main Street, U.S.A. Halloween characters
- Donald Duck and Daisy Duck: Boarding House (Extra Magic Time)
- Stitch: Casey’s Corner Gazebo (Extra Magic Time)
If you have access to Extra Magic Time, we’d prioritise Donald and Daisy or Stitch. We’ve found the earlier opportunity helpful for meeting them with lower crowds.
Fantasyland Halloween characters
- Maleficent: Castle Stage selfie spot
- Evil Queen: Castle Stage selfie spot
- Cruella: roaming in Fantasyland
- The Tremaines: roaming in Fantasyland
- Gaston: roaming in Fantasyland
- Alice and the Mad Hatter: Alice’s Curious Labyrinth
- Queen of Hearts: Mad Hatter’s Tea Cups
- Meet Mickey: Virtual Queue
- Princess Pavilion: Virtual Queue
Frontierland Halloween characters
- Jack Skellington and Sally: virtual queue
- Dr Facilier: Big Thunder Mountain Gazebo
- Pluto: Phantom Manor Gazebo
- Skeleton Goofy: Cowboy Cookout
Dr Facilier is a good reason to make a dedicated character stop in Frontierland. We’d check for Pluto and Skeleton Goofy on the same visit to the land instead of walking back across the park later.
For Jack and Sally, plan this meet separately from your route through the lands. Set an alarm or reminder for the virtual queue so you don’t miss the chance to join while you’re busy exploring.
Adventureland Halloween characters
- Jafar: Magic Lamp
- Phantom Chip and Dale: Colonel Hathi’s pathway
- Captain Hook: Adventureland pathway
- Peter Pan: Adventureland pathway
- Captain Jack Sparrow: roaming in Adventureland
Keep your eyes open as you move between meeting spots, particularly if you hope to see Captain Jack Sparrow roaming. Phantom Chip and Dale are also a meet we’d prioritise for families.
Discoveryland Halloween characters
- Minnie Mouse or her friends: Arcade Beta
- Star Wars characters: Discoveryland
Discoveryland has character meets to check while you’re exploring the park. You may find Minnie or one of her friends inside Arcade Beta, along with opportunities to meet Star Wars characters elsewhere in the land. Check the day’s character information to see who is appearing.
Which Halloween characters should you meet during Extra Magic Time?
If you have access to Extra Magic Time, we’d head for Donald and Daisy at Boarding House or Stitch at the Casey’s Corner Gazebo. We’ve met them during the early entry period and found it a good opportunity to see popular characters before the park gets busier.
Choose your top priority before you arrive. Trying to fit in both meets may mean spending most of Extra Magic Time in character queues, so we’d start with the one your group is most excited about. You can then decide whether to join another queue or explore the park.
Mickey and Minnie’s welcome at Main Street Station is worth looking out for as you enter, but remember that they wave to guests from the station. It isn’t a meet-and-greet.
How to meet Jack Skellington and Sally
Jack and Sally use a virtual queue, so this is one character experience you’ll want to plan before you get caught up in the day. We’ve met them using the virtual queue, and our biggest tip is simple: set an alarm or reminder for when you need to try to join.
Don’t leave it to chance while you’re in another character queue or walking between lands. Check the current virtual queue details in the Disneyland Paris app on the day of your visit, as the process and availability can change.
For more help, read our virtual queue guide before your trip so you know what to expect.
How to find the Disney Villains at Disneyland Paris Halloween
Start in Fantasyland if meeting Disney Villains is high on your list. Cruella, Gaston and the Tremaines roam through the land, while Maleficent and the Evil Queen appear at the Castle Stage selfie spot. The Queen of Hearts can be found near the Mad Hatter’s Tea Cups.
Roaming characters work differently from a meet at a fixed spot. You may come across them as you explore, so give yourself time in Fantasyland rather than planning a quick stop for one exact photo. Castle Stage is a better choice if you particularly want to see Maleficent or the Evil Queen.
Don’t spend all day searching Fantasyland for every Villain. Dr Facilier meets at the Big Thunder Mountain Gazebo in Frontierland, while Jafar and Captain Hook appear in Adventureland. We’d group those characters with other meets in their respective lands to cut down on walking.
The Villains are playful rather than overly scary, but their interactions may feel a bit much for some younger children. Watch from nearby first and let your child decide whether they’d like to meet one.
Which Halloween characters are best for families?
For younger children, we’d put Donald and Daisy, Phantom Chip and Dale, and Skeleton Goofy near the top of the list. Their Halloween looks make the photos feel different from an ordinary park visit, while the characters are likely to be familiar to children.
Donald and Daisy are especially good priorities if your family has access to Extra Magic Time. Phantom Chip and Dale meet in Adventureland, and you can look for Skeleton Goofy when you visit Frontierland. Choosing a favourite in each land is usually more manageable than trying to meet everyone.
Don’t rule out the Disney Villains automatically. We’ve found they’re fun to watch, but some children may feel unsure about approaching them. Spend a moment watching an interaction from a distance, then let your child choose whether to go closer. A wave from afar can be enough.
How to plan a Halloween character day
You don’t need to meet every character to have a good day. Pick a few favourites, then use their locations to plan a route that leaves room for rides, food and unexpected appearances.
- Start on Main Street, U.S.A. Watch for Mickey and Minnie’s welcome. If you have Extra Magic Time, choose between Donald and Daisy at Boarding House or Stitch at the Casey’s Corner Gazebo as your first meet.
- Set your Jack and Sally reminder. Check the virtual queue information for your visit and set an alarm before you get distracted by the rest of the park.
- Spend time in Fantasyland. Look out for roaming Villains, then check the Castle Stage if Maleficent or the Evil Queen is a priority. You may want to return later for Alice, the Mad Hatter or the Queen of Hearts.
- Group your Frontierland meets. Head to Dr Facilier at the Big Thunder Mountain Gazebo and check for Pluto and Skeleton Goofy while you’re in the area.
- Explore Adventureland. Look for Jafar, Phantom Chip and Dale, Captain Hook and Peter Pan. Keep an eye out for Captain Jack Sparrow as you walk around.
- Finish at a pace that suits you. Check whether you have time for a missed favourite, or watch Mickey’s goodnight wave at Main Street Station if you’re staying until the park closes.
Check the day’s character information before committing to your route. Meets and appearances can change, and it’s much easier to adjust a short list of priorities than an hour-by-hour plan.

Our top tips for meeting Halloween characters
- Choose your must-meets before you arrive. Pick two or three characters your group would be disappointed to miss, then treat anyone else you see as a bonus.
- Use Extra Magic Time for an early priority. If you’re eligible, Donald and Daisy or Stitch are good choices before the park gets busier.
- Set a reminder for Jack and Sally. Their virtual queue needs its own place in your plan, even if you’re keeping the rest of the day flexible.
- Give roaming characters some time. Cruella, Gaston, the Tremaines and Captain Jack Sparrow won’t necessarily be where you expect the moment you arrive.
- Let children watch the Villains first. Seeing an interaction from a distance can help them decide whether they want to join in.
Most of all, leave space for an unplanned encounter. Some of our favourite character moments have come from simply noticing who was nearby while we explored.
