Today is a very special day as the press event for World of Frozen kicks off at Disneyland Paris. We are beyond excited because we’ll finally get the official opening date, plus some surprises that are sure to make every Frozen fan squeal with joy.
World of Frozen will officially open on 29th March 2026!

Olaf Animatronic is coming to Disneyland Paris and Hong Kong

Disney fans, get ready to meet Olaf like never before. The new animatronic isn’t just any figure standing still – he walks around, chats with guests, and brings his signature charm to life. From waving hello to reacting hilariously when his arms or carrot nose are removed, Olaf is packed full of surprises that are bound to melt hearts. It’s a playful and interactive experience straight out of Arendelle and we can’t wait to see him in action at Disneyland Paris.

Meet Your Favourite Disney Friends in a Victorian Wonderland
Step into the West Pavilion on the banks of Adventure Bay and discover a charming space inspired by early 20th-century architecture. Here, you can meet Mickey and Minnie in their brand-new Victorian outfits, carefully crafted by the talented Cast Members at the Disneyland® Paris Costume Workshop.
The fun does not stop there. Shortly after the opening on 29 March 2026, even more beloved Disney characters will join the lakeside magic. This enchanting spot promises memorable encounters from morning until night, perfect for fans who love a mix of classic charm and magical surprises.

Disney Cascade of Lights: A Nighttime Spectacular Like No Other
When night falls over Adventure Bay, the brand-new Disney Cascade of Lights will transform the area into a world of wonder. This 360° nighttime spectacular invites guests to experience an emotional journey inspired by heroes from Disney Animation, Pixar, and Marvel stories. With tiered viewing areas around the bay, everyone can enjoy the magic from a perfect vantage point.
The show will combine cutting-edge technology with Disney storytelling in a way never seen before. Guests will witness choreographed water fountains, pyrotechnics, dynamic lighting, and large-scale projections, all set to a powerful soundtrack performed by a 90-piece orchestra. At the heart of the spectacle, a world-exclusive ballet of 379 aerial and aquatic drones will light up the sky and water with dazzling formations. The result promises to be a breathtaking finale that celebrates courage, wonder, and the joy of stepping into your own heroic story.

Raiponce Tangled Spin: Whirl into the Magic of the Lantern Festival
Adventure Way is about to get a whole lot brighter with Raiponce Tangled Spin, a brand-new family attraction inspired by Disney’s Tangled. This ride brings one of the film’s most magical moments to life: the enchanting Lantern Festival.
Guests will board beautifully crafted gondolas and spin gently beneath a sky filled with floating lanterns. Surrounding frescoes tell Rapunzel’s story, while the legendary soundtrack, including “I See the Light,” adds a romantic, immersive touch. For an extra sprinkle of magic, Mandy Moore, the original voice of Rapunzel, recorded special audio announcements for the ride, making the experience feel authentically Disney from start to finish.

Dine Like Royalty at the Regal View Restaurant & Lounge
Guests can take a break from their adventures at The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge, a new table-service restaurant on Adventure Way. This elegant venue welcomes visitors for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a setting inspired by Disney Princesses. Embroidered drapes, floral tapestries, delicate woodwork, and murals featuring Snow White, Tiana, Moana, and more create a refined, magical atmosphere.
Dining here comes with a touch of enchantment. Guests can meet beloved Disney Princesses such as Belle, Merida, Jasmine, Aurora, Mulan, or Ariel, with some in brand-new, never-before-seen looks. Every detail has been thoughtfully designed, from hand-crafted ornamental plates by Royal Delft to the magnificent ironwork canopy made by Schaffner workshops in Alsace. Select tables offer prime views of Adventure Bay, perfect for enjoying a meal while watching the Disney Cascade of Lights nighttime show. The menu is still being perfected, but it promises to match the magic of the surroundings perfectly.

Sip in Style: the First Bar Inside the Parks
For the first time ever, Disneyland® Paris is bringing a bar inside the parks with The Regal View Lounge. This bright and elegant space, decorated in royal-blue tones, offers guests a relaxing spot to unwind during their adventures. An impressive wooden bar with golden accents takes centre stage, surrounded by paintings celebrating the beloved animal companions of Disney Princesses, including Heihei, Pascal, and Mushu.
Guests can enjoy signature cocktails or try drinks inspired by the personalities of Disney Princesses, all while taking in stunning views of the lake and the World of Frozen. The atmosphere is completed with piano renditions of classic Disney tunes, making it the perfect place to relax, soak in the magic, and toast to a day of unforgettable experiences.

Flavours to Discover in Adventure Way
Guests at Disney Adventure World can enjoy a culinary journey with a variety of new and exclusive offerings across 14 food and beverage locations along Adventure Way. La Terrasse Panoramique will serve bread bowls, New York rolls, and a range of hot beverages, while Café Luminosity introduces an original hot dog concept with four signature recipes, alongside sweet treats like cinnamon rolls.
In addition, three kiosks, five chalets, and several mobile carts will offer creative snacks and desserts for all tastes. Guests can try filled brioche rolls, stuffed potato waffles, and whimsical Disney Princess-inspired desserts, making it easy to find delicious bites while exploring the park and enjoying the magic of the day.

Poetic Gardens & Enchanting Entertainment
Adventure Way will be filled with themed gardens celebrating some of Disney and Pixar’s most beloved stories, blending nature, artistry, and storytelling. Guests can wander through areas such as the Tangled Garden or Toy Story Garden, where giant statues of Woody and Jessie stand proud and trees trimmed into toy shapes create playful, immersive scenery. These gardens naturally lead into Toy Story Playland, making every step feel like part of an adventure.
The Gazebo Garden offers a peaceful English-style retreat, complete with bronze statues inspired by classic Disney films such as Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan, and One Hundred and One Dalmatians.
Throughout the year, the gardens will come alive with seasonal performances, including Rapunzel and Flynn’s Musical Encounter in spring, Mary Poppins and the Pearly Band in summer, Miguel’s Fiesta Latina in fall, and, from November 2026, special character greetings. Adding to the magic, the Disney Marching Band, led by Minnie Mouse with 12 musicians, will parade along Adventure Way, performing modern and pop versions of Disney, Pixar, and Marvel songs to delight guests of all ages.

Step into the Magical World of Frozen
World of Frozen promises to take storytelling to a whole new level, recreating the iconic scenes and locations from the beloved Frozen films. Every detail has been carefully designed to immerse guests in the kingdom of Arendelle, from the sparkling castle to the snowy North Mountain.
Visitors will be part of a unique celebration, the Snowflower Festival, which brings the village of Arendelle to life with special decorations and festive touches. Michel den Dulk, Vice-President and Portfolio Executive Creative Director at Walt Disney Imagineering Paris, explains that this is more than just a themed land—it is a fully realised world where creativity and attention to detail combine to make Arendelle feel real. Guests can step into the story and experience the magic of Frozen like never before.

Magical Architecture of Arendelle
Guests entering World of Frozen will be awed by the majestic North Mountain, standing 36 metres tall and crowned by Elsa’s shimmering Ice Palace. At the mountain’s base lies the vibrant village of Arendelle, featuring a lively town square framed by colourful Nordic-inspired buildings and sparkling water features. Villagers, accompanied by a symphonic reinterpretation of the films’ beloved songs, guide guests to Arendelle Bay, the Fountain of Friendship, or the exquisitely decorated Arendelle Castle.
Every detail has been crafted to bring the kingdom to life. Facades and moldings feature subtle floral motifs and traditional rosemaling, while landscaping inspired by Scandinavian forests—conifers, birches, beeches, and crocuses—enhances the atmosphere, making guests feel truly immersed in the Frozen world. The collaboration with UK Loco has ensured that every decoration is crafted with precision, resulting in a living, breathing Arendelle that feels as magical as the films themselves.

Frozen Ever After
At the heart of Arendelle village, beneath the Clock Tower, guests of all ages can enjoy Frozen Ever After, a family-friendly boat ride full of adventure and magic. Visitors will journey alongside Anna, Elsa, and their friends, passing through the snowy forest, the Valley of the Trolls, and Elsa’s dazzling Ice Palace. Along the way, beloved songs like “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” and “Let It Go” will bring the story to life, while Olaf, Sven, and Kristoff join the fun. The ride concludes with a spectacular finale over Arendelle Bay, illuminated by snowflake-shaped fireworks.
The attraction features cutting-edge technology, including lifelike Audio-Animatronics figures and innovative lighting, sound, and projection effects, carefully designed by Walt Disney Imagineering. The combination of music, visuals, and immersive storytelling promises a stunning experience that delights both hearts and eyes, making it a must-see for every guest visiting the kingdom of Frozen.

Meet the Characters in Arendelle
In World of Frozen, guests can enjoy unforgettable encounters with Anna and Elsa during a Royal Encounter in Arendelle Castle. After passing through the castle’s Portrait Gallery, visitors will have a personal moment with the sisters, perfect for photos and creating lasting memories.
Throughout the village, visitors can also encounter other beloved characters like Oaken, the cheerful shopkeeper, or Mossie, the curious baby troll, adding magic and charm to every corner of Arendelle.
A Celebration in Arendelle
The fun continues in Arendelle Bay with A Celebration in Arendelle, a 15-minute colourful show held several times a day as part of the Snowflower Festival. Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff, and villagers take to three majestic Viking longships, beautifully crafted in collaboration with French shipbuilders and artisans.
Guests are invited to sing along to Frozen classics such as “Let It Go” and “Show Yourself,” with new music specially composed for Disneyland Paris by the award-winning duo Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.

Meet Rúna, Your Interactive Baby Troll
Just steps from the boats in Arendelle Bay, the Fjord View Shop will offer guests a unique opportunity to meet Rúna, an interactive baby troll toy. After a special meeting ceremony, visitors can take Rúna home as their new magical companion. Using advanced technology, Rúna reacts to touch, blinks, moves its ears, lights up, and even communicates with other trolls it encounters. Exclusively in World of Frozen, Rúna will also interact with iconic locations, villagers, and even Queens Anna and Elsa.
The shop also features a special festival-ready area, where guests can enjoy themed make-up and hairstyles, making it easy to explore Arendelle in style and fully immerse themselves in the festive spirit of the Snowflower Festival.

Dine at Nordic Crowns Tavern
Guests exploring World of Frozen can take a break at Nordic Crowns Tavern, a quick-service restaurant designed to reflect the warmth and charm of Arendelle. The decor tells the story of the kingdom and its royal family through galleries of paintings and decorative objects, creating an inviting atmosphere for a meal or snack.
Open for lunch and dinner, the restaurant offers a customisable Nordic-inspired menu. Guests can choose from 16 combinations, including a base of mashed potatoes or quinoa, a protein like grilled salmon or Nordic meatballs, seasonal vegetables, and a choice of tangy cranberry or creamy dill sauce. Desserts celebrate the icy kingdom too, with blue sorbet, vanilla ice cream with toppings, snowflake treats, and Nordic pastries. Gluten-free and vegan options are also available, ensuring that everyone can enjoy a delicious, magical dining experience in Arendelle.

Take a Piece of Arendelle Home
The Arendelle Boutique, the village’s charming toy shop, will offer guests a magical shopping experience. Alongside essential Frozen merchandise, visitors can discover an exclusive collection inspired by Scandinavian craftsmanship, including wooden sculptures, clothing, and decorative items featuring elegant rosemaling motifs.
For those wanting to explore Arendelle in style, a range of embroidered garments and accessories inspired by Nordic fashion will be available. Guests can also capture the memory of their visit by sending a postcard from the village mailbox located next to the shop, creating a perfect keepsake to share their adventure with friends and family.
