Spooktacular 2024 Halloween Festival Updates at Disneyland Paris!

Ready for some spooky fun? Well, Disneyland Paris is about to get a whole lot more magical (and mischievous) this Halloween season! Whether you’re a thrill-seeker, a foodie, or just in it for the epic costumes, Disney’s Halloween Festival has something for everyone. You’ll be diving into a world of devilish shows, mischievous encounters, and unforgettable thrills that will leave you buzzing with memories for years to come.

And don’t even get me started on the decorations—they’re so enchanting, you might just want to live in a pumpkin forever! So, grab your broomsticks (or just comfy shoes), because the magic is spilling out into the parks, hotels, and Disney Village!

Nighttime Mischief: The Disney Electrical Sky Parade

Just when you think the day’s magic is winding down, the Disney Electrical Sky Parade swoops in with its award-winning nighttime spectacular. Villains and spooky hosts will light up the night around Sleeping Beauty Castle with dazzling lights, drones, fountains, and even a little fiery flair (hello, fiendish flames, bramble bushes, ghosts and bats!). It’s an eerie, electric dreamscape with melodies from Phantom Manor that will keep your heart racing.

This Halloween, there’s a chilling, exclusive new twist to this show, as the Villainous Masters and Mysterious Hosts take it in turns to hijack the hijinks with their own thrilling projections and drone displays – all just before the start of our nighttime spectacular, Disney Illuminations.

Mickey’s Halloween Celebration Cavalcade

Get ready for a whimsical experience at Mickey’s Halloween Celebration Cavalcade, where the magic of Halloween comes to life in a vibrant parade that will have you dancing in your shoes!

This delightful cavalcade features the Mischief Makers—Goofy, Chip ‘n’ Dale, and their friends—parading through the park on elaborately decorated floats, all set to the sound of exhilarating music.

Twice daily (check DLP APP for times), you’ll witness this joyful procession, showcasing a colorful array of characters, unique costumes, and enchanting floats. This year, there’s an extra sprinkle of magic, as for the first time, the beloved Three Fairies from Sleeping Beauty will join the celebration! These enchanting characters will add their fairy charm to the festivities, making the cavalcade even more special.

What’s more, this year’s cavalcade will include a show stop at Central Plaza, creating a perfect moment for everyone to soak in the magic. And hold onto your pumpkin spice lattes, because this will be the longest Halloween parade yet!

With Daisy kicking off the harvest season and other unique characters like Clarabelle and Horace joining the fun, the cavalcade is a must-see for guests of all ages. Plus, keep your eyes peeled for Mickey’s Illusion Manor float, which beautifully balances the line between illusion and reality, featuring magical costume changes and the mysterious presence of Melanie Ravenswood and the Ravenswood Manor Phantom from Phantom Manor.

Villains, Vampires, and Pumpkins—Oh My!

If there’s ever a time to see Disney characters like you’ve never seen them before, this is it. Picture this: 330 pumpkins (yep, we counted!) glowing in golden hues, 175 meters of lights twinkling overhead, and 13,262 flowers bursting with autumn color. And those little ghosts? They’ll be waving hello as you step into Disneyland Park. It’s like stepping into the happiest haunted place on earth!

Disney Villains

Of course, what’s Halloween without a few villains lurking around? You’ll run into a whole crew of Disney’s baddies, from the always-fashionable Cruella to the chilling Maleficent, and for the first time ever, you’ll meet Mother Gothel from Tangled in a brand new show – she might just share the secret to eternal youth (no guarantees though!).

The official line-up shared by Disneyland Paris includes;

  • Cruella
  • Maleficent
  • Jafar
  • Gaston
  • Captain Hook
  • Queen of Hearts
  • Mother Gothel (from Tangled)
But expect a few surprises including the Lady Tremaine and our favourite step-sisters, you better not call them ugly!, Anastasia and Drizella.

Disney Characters in Their Spooky Halloween Best!

This Halloween season at Disneyland Paris, the characters are pulling out all the stops with their festive outfits! Mickey and Minnie are stepping out in stunning Day of the Dead-inspired costumes, blending vibrant colors and skeleton motifs with Disney magic—definitely a sight you won’t want to miss.

Chip and Dale, always the mischief makers, will be floating around as adorable little ghosts, bringing spooky fun wherever they go. And, of course, no Halloween celebration would be complete without the return of the Pumpkin King himself—Jack Skellington and his beloved Sally are back, charming guests with their eerie elegance straight from The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Miguel and Vampire Stitch confirmed!

And if that’s not enough star power for you, say hello to Miguel from Coco, who’s making a colorful return from the Land of the Dead, and catch Stitch in his brand-new vampire outfit. Because nothing says Halloween like a mischievous alien in fangs, right?

But that’s not all—there are even more surprises in store! Keep your eyes peeled for characters in all sorts of hauntingly delightful outfits, from spooky twists on their classic looks to costumes that will have you doing a double-take.

Fang-tastic Treats and Must-Have Halloween Swag

Now, let’s talk food. Because what’s a Halloween festival without some creepy (and tasty) snacks? From Pumpkin Shortbread with raspberry filling to a cuttlefish ink Captain’s Burger, Disneyland Paris is serving up thrills on a plate. And don’t miss the Jack Skellington-inspired vanilla entremet or the spiced pumpkin-flavored Cold Coffee Boo! It’s the kind of stuff that’ll make your taste buds scream for more.

And if you’re a sucker for souvenirs (guilty!), you’re in for a treat. Think Halloween mugs with Mickey, pumpkin-shaped candy buckets, and headbands covered in grinning pumpkins. Whether you’re trick-or-treating or just treating yourself, there’s something spooky-cute for everyone.
